Yes. How did the Big chomp in SMS get so dirty? If it was really a legendary rare golden chomp it must have takin it along time and alot of dirt and owner negligiance for it to become that filthy. I meen look how big it was and there was dirt covering every single inch of it's body, save a few scratches and a big scar.

Maybe it wasn't dirty. It might have caused a chemical reaction when the Chomp got into the hot spring.

Makes perfect sinse. It could have been a type of rust on the outermost part of it's body and when it got into the hot spring a chemical reaction loosened the rust layer and it it got boiled away. Probably the same thing for the chomplets. Do you think all chomps are made out types of metals like that. Maby it's because they eat metalic minerals. Maby the stone chomps weren't actualy just animated stone, maby they where dead chomps reanimated. So all chomps are made primarily of a type of metal or mineral, what type and the purity of it depends upn what the eat. If they eat alot of dirt with the metal they will be a less pure chomp. The onse in SMS must have been feed preatty well, and the owner must have been rich or something.

I don't agree with the Stone Chomp part, because there's onr that appears to have some sort of curse on it to animate it as soon as you take the key (triangle, wasn't it?)

Creatures can't be made entirely of metal, there has to be some organic parts. The metal part is most likely some kind of outer covering. And I'm preety sure that stone chomp were animated carvings.

I know that stone chomps aren't alive. I was suggesting they might be dead chain chomps and perhaps even chomp rocks. To tell the truth, I havn't even played paper Mario, but from what I hear it seems like they could be animated dead chomps. Might explain why you don't ever see any chomp skelitons. I just so happened to have drawn some chomp like skeletons, but sinse there are no real onse seen in games it's possible they don't exist. But chomps turning into stone after they die would explain where chomp rocks come from. And who said that they were made completely of metal? ??

Sorry, you said they were made out of metal so I assumed that you ment entirely.

Oh. I just meant their outer covering, and perhaps their teeth. Guess I should have clarified....But, also you can hit them in the eye with stuff and they don't apear hurt. Maby they use silicon there to make a sort of glass lense like some amphibious things do except just alot harder.

Well if they spent a lot of time around rocks and sand and stuff they would probobly need those.

I wouldn't think it would just be their outer coating, as they have less defense than normal Chomps. An outer coating would improve defense. Also, it doesn't explain the coming-to-life thing after getting the key.

The Key must have had a curse on it. This is one of those kind of cliche things. Like when you are Link in OoT and you walk up to this Iron knuckle and he's just sitting there in the chair. Looks all scary and kind of looks dead, not moving , just sitting there. Then you smack him and he gets up and destroyes the chair with his axe. Or when your playing pikmin and you see this steamy machein looking thing on he ground but when you get close it comes to life and blows all your pikmn away and it's a man-at-legs. Or when your playing pikmin in multiplayer battle and you go to the center of Angle maze to kill a big grub dog and a huge purple long legs falls from above, Or when your about to get a treasur and one falls from the sky, or when your playing the first pikmin and your about to get a treasure and a beady long legs falls from the sky, or when your at the end of pikmin 2 and you see this big pile of treasure and lui sitting on top and you go over to it and it turns ut to be a big titan dwvil. or when you take the tresure from the pedistool and a big boulder comes rolling at you. I could think up more if you wanted me too.........

Please... I'm begging you.... Don't list more...
Anyway, there was probobly a trap on the key rigged to bring the stone chomp to life when you get it.

Most of those things from Pikmin involve hunting. But that's plenty, thank you. And the Iron Knuckle was probably controlled by the witches. Similarly, either one of these could explain the Stone Chomp's behavoir (only Tutankoopa controlling him instead).

I notice that the smallest versions of chain cmops seem to be even smaller than chain chomplets. Guess it might have been cause the chomplets had been eating alot and just got real fat real fast.....:/ Actually, the small ones could be smaller due to being a different breed, like a dog.

Yeah. An adult chihuahua can be smaller than other dogs as puppies.

As guess that's possible, but they were accompanied by really big chomps as well. Maybe it's just that the're super small as chomplets so when the breed gose full chomp they are still preatty small, while the other breed gets real big(and fat) as chomplets.
