That theory is the one I've been using, so I'll go with it.

The chain chomps are a least part organic so maybe...

Maybe what?

Maybe they are related to insects. They seem to be organic so maybe there hards parts is an exoskeleton.

?Insects? I think we were talking about how it was phyisicaly possible for them to open and close their mouths without any visible warping or overlaping. It could be that the area around where the mouth opens and closes is softher than the rest of the body. But insect? A hard exterior is the only thing chomps have in common with insects.

Well they aren't mammals, birds, fish, reptiles or anphibians, I guess they could be some kind of undiscovered creature. Them being insects sounded like a good idea at the time.

I'd say Chomps are their own...thing. They can't really be classified under any biological area that we know of.
And what about Nibblers? We haven't mentioned them at all, have we?

Nibblers are robotic fish that somehow got out of control and now inhabbit many bodies of water around roughport. Do you really think they are related to chomps?

Yeah. They have the same shape, composition, and attitude. Kind of like Water Chomps.

Nah, mabey the body scheme copied off Chomps but they're robots so they're not related.
And I think Nibblers are from the X-Nauts (Grodus has a large aquarium in his room full of them).

I notice that the smallest versions of chain cmops seem to be even smaller than chain chomplets. Guess it might have been cause the chomplets had been eating alot and just got real fat real fast.....:/

Well you can't really compare the two types of chomps because they are in different genres of games, platforming and console.

There are pebble sized chomps in MG:TT

Well you can't really compare the two types of chomps because they are in different genres of games, platforming and console. We can't leave out a comparision just because they're in two different genres. It'd be like saying Yoshi in SMW2:YI is different from Yoshi in MK:DD!!. And by the way, "console" isn't a genre.

And by the way, "console" isn't a genre. Then what do I call the type of game SM64 and SMS are?

Most people call it a platformer as well, just a 3-D platformer to differentiate.

Lol. And unless the system is handheld the're all considered consol games too because the're all on gaming consoles......

Actualy, some people consider PC's and other computers consoles, but I guess your right. It really just depends on what you use you PC for. I mostly use mine for making games, some people don't use theirs for anything other than playing games on them....
