Dream Land is called Pupupu Land in the Jap version. Plus it's still only the name of a country of the planet. It's like the MW, but more fantastic and less (much less ?) hi-tech.
I personally think the two coolest "fantasty worlds" are the Mushroom Kingdom and Gensokyo (from the Touhou Project series). Both are anything-but-boring places full of interesting people, magic and... dangers. Lots of dangers. Lots of fun ! And obviously both are anything but serious.
On-topic: do you think Mario and co.'s appearance in KSS (and KSSU) is canon ?

Oh(I'm so Stupid!), well possibly, I don't think Dream Land is on ME though(Isn't it on PopStar), but I think it may exist in a Sub(Dream?)-Dimension of the Mushroom Universe. So maybe they were there! I try to fit as many Games into the Canon as possible, so I don't see any reason why not!

How'd they have got there though ? We know they have an unknow way of going in space (for the Rainbow Road levels, and how Luigi went in space in SMG2) but if both series are in different dimensions...

I question Rainbow Roads canonicity in the Mario Kart(And Mario in General) series, I really don't think Peach would have a Road made out of Rainbows in Space based on 2 reasons:1)She has it Constructed, Destroyed, then Rebuilt every Year, and 2)It is designed without Guard Rails, and I don't think Peach, or any Mario Characters(Albeit Bowser) would Construct something like this with Complete disregard for the Safety of the Competitors(Including Herself)! As for how they got to DreamLand, maybe the same way they got to the Dream place in Mario Party 5(Which I don't think is Canon, but the same Rules can still Apply).

I don't think Rainbow Roads are made by Peach. I also think the one over Mushroom City is giving power to the aera. Also, after thinking again, I think most Mario sports games are canon. And, if they cared much for the people's safety, there wouldn't be lava-filled courses (Bowser's Castle), tracks located above the clouds (Sky Garden) or any items.
Also, the dream place in MP5 (which I also think is not canon) was somewhere on MW anyway.

The Powering Mushroom City Theory is... Genious, to say the Least, though I'm not completely Convinced. Also as for the Locations of Sports Arenas, I think alot of them could be in the Peach Dome(If it has a Retractable Roof it can be True). This helps take the Burden off deciding where all the Stadiums are Located.

Actually, some of the rainbow roads do have guardrails, but yea, I wouldn't really call any of them safe. They do have lakitus though to keep people from falling to their death.
In MG:TT there was one stage that seemed to generate, or absorb, or maybe just support a bunch of rainbows shooting off into space. I call it rainbow junction. Is there something like that in SMG2?

Same, I can't remember that.
I think the MKDD Rainbow Road is powering up Mushroom City because of how there's a giant warp pipe in the middle of the track. Maybe that the "road" takes any form of celestial energy (solar, astral and why not lunar), converts it to power and said power is given to the city. Who know, maybe that's the kingdom's alternative to electricity. And maybe that the road's enegry covers the whole MK.

Perhaps it is a Collection of Solar and Magicl Energy that Solidified in the Atmosphere above Mushroom City, and the people learned to Harness it's Energy and convert it to Electricity. Or maybe it's a Man-made thing, that they used to Harness Energy to Power the City. So it may Exist, but I still don't think any of the Outer Space ones are Real. If it's Natural thing, then it would Exain why there's only 2 Info Age Cities on the Planet, so there must be one above Daimond City as well.

Here's another proof that Mario is Mexican. XD
You know, you can search on Youtube too. But I have (or had) the game, and I don't remember anything rainbow-related (but Yoshi and Birdo's special shot)...

MG:TT Mario Golf Toadstool Tour. I don't have the game with me right now or else I'd find the exact level. If anyone else has the game, I'm pretty sure it was one of those Peaches Castle courses.

You mean, Peach's Castle Grounds ?
I don't have the game anymore (sigh) but I'll search on Youtube. There must be a video of someone doing all 18 holes on that course.
