I really don't have a favorite Mario game. But one of my favorites is SMB3 (mostly because the Hammer Suit is the most epic invention ever. I mean really, it is like throwing portable starmen)

It also makes the 2nd fortress in Iced Land extremely easy.

Unfortunately it wasn't found anywhere in a level. But it was the only item sold in the Iced Land shops

I'm sure that you all know my favorite game...

Yeah we should really just start doing all of this randomness in the off-topic topic.

But seriously, that was getting out of hand back there. I figure some ancient creator race used their magic to create such things. Magic plus technology, of course. Thats the thing: many irregularities can be explained through magic, which must exist because Magikoopas can spawn/turn blocks into enemies.

I think that was brought up earlier, except the "Creator Race" were the Ancients. This is also my personal favorite, as it explains why the Blocks were found in other dimensions.

Creator race could have been the original stars.

Wouldn't the Lumas technically be the "creator race"? They literally turn into the very planets the characters live on.

The Luma don't create, they transform. The Ancients would rather have created the Luma species (just as they created everything). To make their work faster and to allow it to continue even if the Ancients stopped existing, I guess.

Good connection, Koop-dude. Im gonna call you that from now on cause I cant remember your username if im not actually looking at it. Anyways, yeah, how are new lumas created, anyway? And can they transform into things besides the following: Galaxies (how do they turn into multiple planets, anyhow? Or do they just turn into the dark matter that holds them together, taking nearby planets in?) Planets 1-UP Mushrooms One chance cube Five chance cubes Extra Health Shrooms Launch Stars Sling Stars

Hang on, Im gonna have to make a new topic just for them. Unless there already is one.

I think them transforming into a 1-Up, Life Shroom, planet (that holds a Power Star or enemies), cubes, etc... is not canon. More like a fancy way to show you a new path. Also, Luma are created when a star dies. They are pretty much baby stars. And for their transformation into planets, stars and Launch Stars, I think it's their natural evolution, but they can choose when they'll transform. If they transform into a star or a planet, they probably lose their mind (I doubt a planet can think).

Just because you never hear Earth talk doesn't mean it's not alive.
Now that the philosopher in me got to talk, I'm going to agree that certainbits of their transformation aren't canon.

Mostly because they usually respawn after you get what they turned into. (The SMG2 ones in the Faceship's ear)

And because, when they turn into a planet, I doubt they turn into a planet AND the life on it AND the enemies on it (which are part of Bowser's army) AND the Power Star that the planet usually holds.
