Like I said, some part of the Mario Party games has to be canon because Luigi mentioned them in Paper Mario. Whether the actual event happened or they just played minigames, some kind of party had to take place

Why not parties like the one that happened during SMRPG's credits, or during PM's ? After all a Toad does say "The last party was great !" or something.

Yeah, Koop is right. But MP4 could have been just one of their B-Days(Most likely Peachs').

Well, it Is called Mario Party! How did we go from talking about Chirping Blocks, to Evoloution, to Mario Party? Well this Is a Forum!

Not that it matters anyway, it's not like this was a big hyperactive forum where an off-topic makes everyone confused.
And it is called "Mario Party" because this game's genre is "party game". The Monopoly is a party game too.

The way Mario Party is played has changed from game to game though. The biggest change that I can remember is from Mario Party to Mario Party 2 though.

Yeah, but It is still is considered a "Party Game" genre-wise!

Of course. There has never been so big of a change that it is no longer a party game

I mean before there was only one way to play Mario Party but by Mario Party 8 there are at least 6 different gamestyles in one game.

My Theory: Mushroom Kingdom Physics are essentially like our own, but with a *cough* few quirks; one of them being that certain things float, including but not limited to: Castles, Large Chunks of Earth and Stone, Platforms, Magic Carpets, and ? and ! blocks. I imagine that some time in the distant past, the inhabitants of MW (possibly the "Minish" mentioned earlier) realized that this would be convenient for designing a storage device. Hence the ? block was born!

Welcome to the forums, waddykong! Wait a sec though, where is the evidence that the Minish (And other Hyrulian species) exist on Mushroom Earth?

This probably has been mentioned already, but maybe the same gravitational hijinks that allows everyone to jump unrealistically high is also responsible for the floating of blocks. After all, it's simply not too credible than almost every species, no matter how they look, can jump high naturally. It must be either a weak gravitational pull or a dense atmosphere or something.

Someone said floating blocks, coins and stuff were made by a Minish-like people, or something like that.
You (waddykong) forget something: it doesn't have to be part of different laws of physics. It can be magic. However M&L1 proven ? blocks were machines, and since SM64 Warp Pipes are sometimes called "teleportation pipes". Magic may explain some platforms though.

I don't think that Gravity is any different in the Mushroom World, Mario(And Luigi) seems to be the Best Jumper, as he is often Credited in the RPG's for his Jumping prowess(I would Credit somebody he could Jump 7 feet in the Air and break Bricks with his Fist!). And we can't count the Toads in NSMBWii, as that was for equality purposes!

But... lots and lots of characters seem to be able to jump high in Mario's world. Mario might just be good at it, but that doesn't change the fact that in gravity similar to ours, not many beings would be able to jump that high.
Heck, in Paper Mario, Goombas jump as high as Mario does.

I'd rather say Mario jumps as high as Goombas do. Because, you know, if you could jump 20 ft high in the overworld, that'd kinda kill many puzzles or break the game. I think Goombas actually are great jumpers, because of their small size and to the fact they can only use their foots and their head.

Yeah in the Mario RPG's just about anything you follow can jump well.

Look at Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an example of how great a Jumper Mario really is! The Toads in NSMBWii only jump that high for Gameplay reasons!
