Hey that time-line is pretty good, I'm not sure I understand all the reasoning behind 2002 though, could you explain it?

Hey, look, a timeline. Let's annoy the world by posting mine.
(I made before a crazily big timeline but it would be too long here, so I'll just post when I think when the games happen on the MK's calendrar <- is it writed like that ?)
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - september 25, 1981 -> september 30, 1981
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time - past - - november 19, 1983 -> november 23, 1983
Donkey Kong (Game Boy) - june 2, 1996 -> june 3, 1996
Mario Bros. - september 9, 2002
Super Mario Bros. - december 13, 2002 -> december 24, 2002 (it happens the castle stages are set at night)
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels - january 3, 2003 -> january 12, 2003 (same)
Super Mario Bros. 3 - february 23, 2003 -> march 2, 2003
Super Mario Land - march 10, 2003
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins - march 11, 2003 -> march 13, 2003
Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land - march 14, 2003 -> march 15, 2003
Super Mario Bros. 2 - march 16, 2003
Super Mario World - march 21, 2003 -> march 23, 2003
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars - april 9, 2003 -> april 16, 2003 (if a world = a day, otherwise the adventure would be too short)
Super Mario 64 - june 23, 2003 -> june 25, 2003 (if we forget the intercourse between the missions of Big Boo's Mansion)
Paper Mario - november 1, 2003 -> december 14, 2003 (Shooting Star Hill, Forever Forest, Goomba King's fort and the Dry Dry Desert when the ruins appear are set at night, a chapter = a day, and Mario was unconscious for at least 4 days, so it makes alot)
Luigi's Mansion - january 14, 2004
Super Mario Sunshine - july 19, 2004 -> august 5, 2004 (for about the same reasons as in Paper Mario)
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - september 11, 2004 -> september 15, 2004
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door - october 22, 2004 -> october 30, 2004
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time - present - - november 19, 2004 -> november 23, 2004
Super Princess Peach - december 20, 2004 -> december 22, 2004
New Super Mario Bros. - february 25, 2005 -> march 10, 2005 (fortresses AND castles are set at night)
Super Paper Mario - april 19, 2005 -> april 22, 2005
New Super Mario Bros. Wii - may 3, 2005 -> may 14, 2005 (this time only the castles are set at night)
Super Mario Galaxy - june 1, 2005 -> june 9, 2005
Super Mario Galaxy 2 - june 10, 2005 -> june 18, 2005
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - october 11, 2005 -> october 24, 2005 (a Dry Bone says he's waiting for Fawful's show since 10 days, so Bowser and Mario were most likely unconscious for 10 days)
I'm trying to fit Hotel Mario in all that. Maybe at an april 1 ? Remind me to check.

I seriously hope it's not just me, KingKoopa, ShadowGoomba, & MB364. Oh, well you guys are cool so I'm fine:) Don't worry, I'm here too. Anyway, I like the timelines. Maybe I'll post my own someday...

The only thing I don't like about this timeline so far is the placement of Blumiere's epic ragy-rage against his people. To me, it seems like it would have happened a bit closer towards the date of Super Paper Mario, maybe 10 or so years off, if that. But other than that, pretty nice.

I don't understand why you left out all the Golf, Tennis and other sports games nor do I understand the placement of PiT after Double Dash.

Yeah, you left out the Golf, Tennis, and Party games which should probably be somewhere in there before the first Paper Mario. And yeah, I don't think it took Count Bleck THAT long to get his plans in motion.

I would think that Mario Super Sluggers occurs sometime after the Donkey Kong Country games. And I would think that Brawl takes place after them as well since they have the whole "DK Universe"

Okay, I understand Brawl, but why move Super Sluggers (I haven't played it)

Super Sluggers has pretty much all of the main DKC characters in it.
