Yeah, and we base our theories off the facts.

Gosh, whatever happened to Phil? I've seen him in school a few times in the past year or so, but we never get to talk. I think he just moved on.

Based on what facts?
I thought it could be whatever you want it to be, they are only theories after all. Well here's mine and there are no facts here, in fact my history shows a completely different side to the Mushrom Kingdom.
In the year 1138, King Matthew I was crowned the seventh ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. He was to become a brutal dictator who started a war with the Koopa Republic. Thousands of Koopas were massacred and survivors were taken prisoner and beheaded. The war would last till 1145 when King Matthew I was assassinated by General Stephen H. Koopa, the leader of the Koopa Republican Army at that time. King Matthew I however had introduced many anti-koopa laws into the Mushroom Kingdom's Constitution branding the koopa race as a bloodthirsty hostile species. Castle Koopa would begin construction in 1398 and would be completed in late 1406. On the 2nd April 1407 the Koopa Republic would officially become the Koopa Kingdom with Spencer I being the first king of the koopas. Castle Koopa had many upgrades with its final change in mid 1549 where it has stayed in that state since. Since its construction Castle Koopa has been the target of several failed demolition attempts by the Mushroom Kingdom. In the present age of the Mushroom Kingdom in the year 1760, Peach had discovered the truth and had been talking to Bowser behind her father's back on the internet and have staged kidnappings.

I can't argue that the big paragraph up there is interesting, and it's true we can make up our own Marioverse history. But a paragraph like that is too far-out and unproven to be in any section other than the fanfiction board.

Which hasn't become apparent in any game ever. The story is sorta like mine, except I got reasons for the fighting and it's not hundreds of years ago. And Peach is in the present time.

I always thought the kopa klans goombas just obeyed because they were more of brainless evil minons then trianed solders. The troopas though do seem to have a nervous streak to them, I assume alot of them are forced to work in the army on fear of punishment.

Thats possible. I believe they work in the army by choice as getting in the army is very tough and only the best are allowed in. As for goombas and other non-Koopa species, they are more voluntary members, whom only do jobs there occasionally. It is mainly Koopas who do most of the work and it is them who live in the residential section of the castle while goombas, etc live elsewhere.

I don't think goombas are allied with Koopas. But...was that goomboss guy under Bowser's power? If he was then goombas might have at one time been indirectly under Bowser's control.

Goomboss is the same person as goomba king, and of corse goombas are allied with koopas.

Yes they do. But the only time I'v sen a koopa and a goomba acting like they might want to work together to beat Mario was in a fan made comic:/. And it also happened in that Mario movi. But I don't it's ever happened in a game. Has it?

But I didn't think you guys considered that movie as canon. Do you have any examples from a game or something?
