You mean where Luigi is blue-yellow? I started watching it, but couldn't get to the end. The animation on the Mario Bros. is horrible.

I absoloutly loved it. Sure Luigi didn't look Normal, but keep in mind the game iself depicted Luigi as wearing White Overalls, and a Green Shirt, so they didn't have much to go by at the time... But the Ending is the only real reason I don't think it's Canon, that AND the fact that it depicts the Bros. as being from Earth... Which I don't believe!

The Bros. being from Earth was canon until Yoshi's Island came out. In fact, one can say Yoshi's Island was the first game to really cause a giant fracture in canon.

I don't recall ANY of the games supporting the Bros are from Earth theory! I mean, Myamoto said that Mario Bros. was based on the NYC Sewer System, but thats a longshot from being set there!

Until more informations, an human character automatically belongs to Earth. Actually until SMW2, the Mushroom Kingdom was on Earth and Bowser was an evil yokai. Even Dinosaur Land was said to be in the Pacific Ocean. But the Marioverse's canon was set since SMW2, where we see a cute and somewhat human Baby Bowser, Mario coming from another planet, and said planet being orbited by multiple moons.

But the story goes with it so perfectly... Donkey Kong is set in the real world. DK has escaped from the Mushroom Kingdom and wreaks havoc. Mario Bros. takes place a little later, when more critters escape from the MK and get into the NY sewers. Then, Mario and Luigi go into a pipe and emerge in the MK. SMB1, SMB2, SMB3, SMW follow, maybe even in chronological order! Then, BAM! YI ruins everything. The theory that the Marios were born in the MK, but then were sent to the real world, was popular for many years afterwards... then, BAM! Partners in Time. Now no one knows anything anymore.

Mario is born on ME. Mario encounters DK in Mushroom City. Bowser kidnaps Peach. Mario Rescues her and becomes National Hero.
Sums up all Events happening between 1981 and 99 in the Mushroom World!

*ahem* I think you meant Big Ape City, and this was before Donkey Kong Land existed. Nintendo of America even said to all of the companies that made comics and the TV show that Mario was from Brooklyn. Then YI came out and all Nintendo of America media about Mario games dissapeared. Being born in the Mushroom Kingdom used to be the most obsurd idea that anyone had ever heard. So after years of it being considered canon, can you really expect Mario fans who played games and knew the canon in that time to give up their ideas so easily when the proof that Earth doesn't exist in ME and Mario and Luigi never went to Earth has NEVER been completely cemented into the Mario timeline. It has shown that they lived there (latest time shown is maybe 2 years old). There is a wiiiiiiiide time span between there and the original Donkey Kong

then, BAM! Partners in Time. Now no one knows anything anymore. I thought they went to Earth just after PiT. Perhaps that was even the reason that their parents decided to move,

I doubt they would have gone to Earth after already being best friends with the local princess. The fact they've known Peach from childhood just makes it extremely unlikely they have ever been to Earth at all.

Super Mario 64 says Mario was from Brooklyn.

It doesn't in the more-recent-and-canon DS remake.

Not in the European version of the original, either.

None of the Games(Not Manuals. Games) ever supported the Brooklyn Theory, keep in mind, NoA doesn't make the Games, they just Translate them! Donkey Kong took place in Mushroom City as far as I'm concerned!

Keep in mind that Mushroom City was not in existence when DK'94 took place, and the game itself calls it a "Big City", which has yet to appear in a Game since. So it's safe to assume that Donkey Kong took place here!

You seem to forget that Donkey Kong Arcade did NOT take place in Big City, since in the beginning of DK94, DK and Mario only enter Big City once the DK Arcade levels are finished. They seem to take place "in a featureless void", so to speak. It might represent the real world.
