Pirahna plants are flowers and they can survive lava. For example, lava pirahna lives in lava.

He seems to have some connection with magic though. (For example, Lava can't cause fires)

Lava can cause fires, but not in the way commonly portrayed.

Lava is much hotter than fire though. And when I said fire, I meant him coming back on fire. Plus, he couldn't develop the fire skills naturally because it would be useless against the heat-resistant creatures living there. How does lava cause fires?

I though we were talking about Volcano Lotus...and I'm fairly sure that fire is hotter than lava. Some fires anyway.

I would think lava would be hotter because there is more pressure on it, but that's just my opinion.

Lava pirahna lives in a volcano, he would have to evolve fire powers so he could survive.

No, he would have to evolve heat resistance. Fire wouldn't help.

Yes... Many pirahna plants have fire abillitys. Regular pirahna plants don't have heat resistance yet they shoot fireballs.

Right, so we should count the two abilities as seperate.

Those plants would have to have some limited heat resistance ability to use the fire atacks. But counting them as separate is probably a good idea even though they are used hand in hand. Theres probably a plant out there that only uses heat resistance though I doubth there's one that only uses fire attacks. There's probably more than one type of each ability.

It's very weird how Venus Fire Traps can breath fire but die instantly when they get hit by it.

That's because they are only fire resistand at the point where they shoot out the fire. The outside of them is verry flammable.

It still seems weird...but I geuss since most Pirahna Plants are extremely weak, it sort of makes sense.

In M&LSSS pirahna plants that shoot out fire are immune to fire attacks.

Can we contain this in the Pirahna Plant topic?
