I would say that all of the Koopa Kids are male but I guess we will never know since they don't put them in Mario games anymore. Speeking of Koopa Kids though, I remember one Koopa Kid in Mario Party 5 that could split into three different ones. Of course they were different colors, but if they could somehow clone themselves without changing colors, that would explain why there is so many of them.

I think our best bet is to say that it was a mix of males and females, since you can't really tell for the most part.
Without the bow, eyelashes, rings, lipstick, or shoes, most players would assume Wendy was a male too.

Bowser, Bowser Jr., and the Koopalings are a Sub(Err.. Over?)-Species of Koopa, lets call them Royal Koopas(Think Royal Ludroth in MH3)! They are Larger than other Koopa Species and have distinct Features such as Fire Breath, Spiked Shells, Horns, Fangs & Claws! They are the Rarest and most Powerful, which is probably the Reason why the early Koopa Tribes chose them as Leaders!

Well considering that there is no "Lost World" for koopas we really don't know how they evolved or even came into existence

There's only one Line of Royal Koopas(Bowsers' Ancestors), who were chosen to become the Leaders when he Koopa Tribes began to form a Monarchy. Thus, no matter what type of Koopa a R. Koopa mates with, the child ONLY inherits the Genes of the Royal Parent. So, Bowsers' Wife could have been a normal Koopa Troopa, considering, if she was a R. Koopa, that would be In-breeding... Which I SERIOUSLY doubt. 1)Because Nintendo would never do That, and 2)He doesn't have any known Family members other than his Children! So it must have been either a Koopa Troopa or Hammer/Boomerang Sis. But I'm leaning towards Koopa Troopa!

My theory ? They are clones. Bowser first needed elite soldiers for his army, that would have his skills, so Kamek made the Koopalings (7 clones of Bowser magically modificated, explaining why they look quite different and there's a girl, and why they have those mysterious birthmarks). Then, when he realized he'll need someone to inherit the royalty, Kamek made a perfect clone of him: Bowser Jr.

In other words, they don't have parents.

I think the Koopalings are his Biological Children, while Jr. is a Clone! I also believe one of the Koopalings will inherit his Throne(I'd say either Iggy or Ludwig, as they are the Eldest), and the rest will become Nobility, unless they do something like the Shroobs and share the Throne... Idk!

Ludwig is the oldest while Bowser Jr is the youngest. While it would seem that Ludwig would take the throne, I think that Bowser Jr. will take over since he seems to be the leader of the Koopalings in NSMBWii.

I think Bowser was probably just pampering Jr., as he is the only one who seems to Show any real interest in World Domination(He actually went to Space with his Father. Twice.). While the others have only helped on a few occasions, and when Bowser specifically wanted their Help. But I'm guesing that the Koopalings will inherit the Kingdom, and Jr. will become a Lord, and Military Commander.

I believe that the Koopalings are Bowser's children, not clones. As for their mother, perhaps the Koopa King's wife has no role in Koopa Kingdom society, meaning we wouldn't need to see her.

I'd say the Original 7 where his Children, bbut his Wife died prior to SMB. But Jr. is a Magical Clone who Bowser tricked into helping him! Also, did you get my PM?

I do admit that young Bowser looked a lot like Bowser Jr. in PiT, but it seems like it didn't look that much like Jr. because if it did, Bowser would have called him Jr.

Yeah, Jr. Is so Identical and so much Younger than the rest, he MUST be a Clone. Not to mention Bowsers Wife is dead!
