Wow... It sure is easy for a topic to get derailed, isn't it? Okay now, let's get back to Bowser.

Exactly. So, what do you guys think of the Emoglobins? What's their job? I mean, besides giving directions to random mustachioed guys who also happen to be their host's worst enemy.

Considering they make a point of stating that they are not part of Bowser himself, I would say it's a form of commensalism, in which one species benefits and the other is neither helped nor harmed. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commensalism)

Well, what about the Evoglobins? When you first ford the adrenaline channel, they talk about being part of Bowser's spirit, or something to that extent.

That might be why they are more evolved than emoglobins

I'm not asking that. I'm asking if the Evoglobins are a part of Bowser or not.

They seem to care about Bowser, which means that they might be a part of him (or just use commensalism like PDoogan said) but if they were a pat of him 100% they would have been hurt or even dead from Bowser being in mortal peril

Well, they wouldn't be dead because Bowser still survives afterwords.
Maybe they just take on Bowser's life energy for a short period of time in order to bring him back to life, or allow other creatures to do so, in this case.

Yeah if thats true then that explains why Bowser can pretty much come back from the dead when Mario beats him up, he has a backup support system

And it also obviously explains the existance of Dry Bowser.
Anything else on the Globins, anyone?

Bowser didn't seem to know the quiz globin, even though the quiz globin said he did

Well, he calls himself Nutsoglobin, mainly because of his insane nature. I'm sure he just assumed that Bowser knew him, even though he didn't. In fact, he didn't even tell him his name. All he did was just shout, "ME!" (That's one of my favorite parts of the game, actually. Second only to playing around with Bowser's arm muscles.) [P.S. I just did spell check, and it wanted me to change Nutsoglobin to Discoloring. ]

Nutsoglobin is one of my favorite parts too but I think its funnier whenever Luigi happens to be in a cutscene

If Bowser has a backup support system present in all of his race, doesn't that make the race kind of...overpowered? I mean, they biologically couldn't survive, since they would dominate over the rest of the races and eliminate their food supply.
