So? It seems only logical that if you're gonna make a character the child of another character, he should at least resemble his predecessor.

Yes but Bowser Jr. in SMS has the EXACT same look as Bowser as a baby and the trophy. Bowser Jr. should have looked more like the Koopalings.

*shrug* Shoulda, coulda, woulda. Despite whether the game designers "screwed up" by making Bowser Jr. look to similar to Baby Bowser, the fact of the matter is that he does. Besides, when some kids are born they look exactly like their parents did when they were infants. But then when the same two parents have more kids, those ones might look completely different. Some kids look similar, some don't. In this case, Bowser Jr. looked similar and the Koopalings didn't. No use getting all worked up over it.

I already threw one option out there in my previous post. Some more possibilities include:
The theory that Bowser Jr is just a clone of Bowser as opposed to his child.
The theory that the Koopalings aren't actually Bowser's children, and Bowser Jr is.

I think it's most likely the Koopalings were his first batch of kids, and Bowser Jr. was just born later.

Right. I'm sure Bowser could force some poor female to lie down with him if he wanted to. In fact, Kamikaze, I think that's the best answer to the "who's Bowser's mate?" question that I've ever heard.

Bowser- Make 7 of them older with your magic, leave one of them natural. These 7 kids will fight to the death, except for that one [ points to Bowser Jrs. egg ]. He will stay by my side when he is older. But for now you take care of him.
Kamek- Yes sir.
Kamek magically formed the 7 koopalings older with his magic. Kamek took Bowser Jrs. egg and raised him over the years. Bowser was with them most of the time I geuss.
That should be good enough for you people.
