I don't think this whole sticking to the planet this has anything to do with just Raph or Yoshi. Super Mario galaxy shows the same properties of being able to walk around on a very smalll planet without fallin off. Perhaps the planetiods themsevle are made of a very dense, non-radioactive element not know to our demention.

But that would be so dense that the atom would have to expel protons, considering how weak gravity is. And yes, I was thinking that same thing. SMG messes with everything...they have floating apple planets for crying out loud!

It dosn.t mess everything up. If the major planets, of wich all the smaller "planetoids" are satellites to, are small themselves and or are not verry dense, then there gravitational pull wouldn.t affect the orbiting planetoids as much and it's pull on Mario would be overpowered by the planetoids pull if Mario was close enugh to, or right on top of a planetiod.

I don't think any of you seem to understand how weak gravity is. You can't explain it for anything. You know how hard it is to walk on the moon? For even that limited gravity you would have to compact its entire mass into comparitively extremely small objects. If the atoms faced that kind of pressure, they would explode with the force of an atomic bomb.

Yeah, but they do have some, correct? They qould have to be at least half the size of the moon for us to even notice it. (Because the moon has roughly one-sixth of our gravity)

We can't make any assumptions for SMGxy because we don't know anything about it. For all we know, the new villian just made all this physics-bending space junk pop into existance.

Gravity is a constant like mass and can't change no matter where you are. It's no more constant than time, which in the mushroom universe, aparantly isn't that constant, it's even less constant in Inuyasha. And what about time between our world and a video game world. It takes some of us a whole month to beat a game that takes place over the span of one night, playing nonstop....And the characters in the game don't get sleepy or anything. But mostly I agree with Toomai.

Time can be accounted for; it alows some leeway. You can't put leeway on gravity because it disobeys one of Newton's laws and everything would be chaos. Say you have a pencil. Say it has a mass of three grams. There is no where you can take that pencil and have it not have that same mass. The amount of pull that the pencil has (which is very small) depends on this mass, so it will never change either. (unless we figure out antigravity, which I doubt will happen)

...................................You could just take it in to space and it would be weightless. Or to the moon and it would weigh alot less. Besides, time is the most fundamental unit we know about. If time dosn't have to be constant, then nothing else we know about has to be constant.

Mass and weight are different. Weight is the pull of gravity on an object. Mass is the amount of matter in an object. Time passes at different rates on different planets. (I think Mercury's year is shorter than its day). And are you talking about Luigi's Mansion with the one-night thing? Because I think the Boos had something to do with that.

I know what mass and weihgt are but your example above was talking about weight. Just to clarify, the time it takes for a planet to orbit around the sun is not actualy time itself, but a mesure of time, made up by use humans...And yea I was talking about luigi's Mansion. Clearly a manipulation of time but it also happens in some other games too.

I modified that post to make it more clear. And I'm just saying that a day, year, hour, etc. could be any amount of time on Mario's planet. There's really no way to tell. And Steven Hawkings has some theories that involve time getting slower as you progressingly get closer to the center of time...don't know if they're true or not though. I also don't believe Luigi's Mansion would be a manipulation of time itself, there's no way the Boos could be strong enough to do that. I think it was simply a manipulation of darkness to make it appear as though it were night.

But E Gadd said it had taken a night. I'm sure he didn't say that just because it looked darks outside, it probably looks dark alot out there in the boo woods. Gadd probably had a clock or something in his lab.

The Boos could have easily reset the clock. I know he said it was only one night, but it all seems like a big set-up to me.

I think I could probably beat LM in one night if I wanted to...it isn't that long. I wouldn't get many secrets though.

I easily beat it with a Level A in less than 12 hours. So taking just one night is perfectly possible.
