Electro-mgnetism is a type of magnetism wich harnesses the power of electricity. I'm not sure I understand the thing about the floating on top of one of the poles thing...

To do that, you would have to find a way to transfer the electrons in the magnet to some other object. This is why very old magnets don't stick as well; some of the electrons have been transfered. Earth has two magnetic poles, north and south, positive and negative. These cause compasses to move. So, if what you're saying is true, we could float on top of the pole with the opposite charge. This is, of course, not true.

But how in the world do you float on poles?!?!?

Then why do sides of a double pole magnet attract or repele eachother depending on the respective charge of each pole? I will leave you with this question while I try to figure out a logical answer to your question. :/

Because everything has two poles. If it didn't, then it would just be a form of energy and not an object.

Do you beleive it's possible for our poles to change depending on where we are? I read that the Earth's own poles have even been changing over the years. So perhaps other celestial objects are affecting the Earth's poles while the Earth affects the oreintation of our poles just like it affects the oreintation of a bar magnet. So If we were at the south pole and went to the north pole our pole oreintation would be switched around by the stronger force of the earth and we would stay firmly planted on the ground. Hmmm. Starting to make sense again..@_@

It would be bad to be the guy lost in the woods when that happens

I wonder if it's possible for different parts of the planet to have slightly different gravity....@_@

I don't think so. Gravity is caused by mass and that can't change.

But if the planet's mass is inconsistent...Like mountains and valleys. There might be a change in gravetational force. Not a noticable change, unless it was like super big depresion or elevation the likes of wich are not typicaly found on our planet. Conditions like that are probably more likely to occure on a big asteroid or something like that.

Hmm...I geuss so, becuse there would be more or less mass beneath you...but not much, because almost all of earth's gravity is still underneath you...anyway, back to the Ralphael moon dilema.

Kamek intended to trap yoshi on the moon, he also used magic on ralphael. The magic absorbed into ralphael could have counteracted with the moons feild to create magnitism. When ralphael was booted into space, yoshi could get off.

Perhaps you mean't magnetism? Because gravity is impossible or at least very difficult to fill someone with. It would tire out Kamek and/or he would run out of magic before it could happen. Besides, if Yoshi and Ralphael were filled with gravity, the moon would drift to them.

I ment magnitism but wrote gravity by mistake, I just fixed it.

Okay, that makes sense then.

By the way, have you notised that regular raven crawl around little planetoids the way ralphael did with the larger one. They seem to be floating in midair.

Sticky feet? Yoshi can't do that with them so there's probably no magnetism or anything.

Ravens are more intellegent than they look, they seem to like crawing around things though. They most likely dig there claws in the surface in order to crawl around. But what I want to know is, what is the perpouse of the little planitoids (and the big one).

So they can have 360ยบ of attacking Yoshi. Also so they can attack Yoshi when he's riding on those moving platforms.
