There's definetly satellites around the Mushroom World. A few areas in PM2 have satellite dishes, and Goombella mentions Goombas landing on the moon in 69. They have the technology, and magic.
I just thought I should bring that out in the open.
Just to help break up the medieval label on the Mushroom World.

Don't forget about some of the space levels in the Mario Parties. (2 and 5, I belive)

Smithy brought a lot of technology to Mushroom Earth. However, if they went to the moon in '69, they probably have had sufficiently advanced technology for quite some time.

Or they just used magic. It'd be a lot easier to use magic than technology (no technical difficulties, can build perfect circles, constructions with no physical flaws, etc).

You just pointed out a fact at how easy magic would be at building complex technology.

Yeh, so? Just because they know that doing so-and-so magical spell creates a PNP transistor doesn't mean they understand how it works.

Yeah, I think that to create a spell that makes that, they still have to know how to do that manually first.

they still have to know how to do that manually first. Or in other words they already knew how to make it, and used magic to speed up production.

The Mushroom World could be like the He-Man universe, they have advanced tecnology (robots, lasers, etc.) but still have a medieval-ish theme (huts, swords, castles, etc.)

Okay, I think Toomai and YM are on to something. I don't think it's really reasonable to believe that the MK citizens use advanced tech to fly to the moon but don't know how it works. This is just a notion, but it seems like you'd have to know how something works to produce it in the first place. It's not like they discovered transistors and put the mysterious objects to good use, using magic to produce more. I think it's better to say that they invented this tech, and now they use magic to mass-produce it or even to discover new variations and versions of it.
And gigagrodus, that's exactly how I view the MK.

I think it's more likely that E. Gadd invented that stuff, and most other people don't understand it but use it anyway because it works.

Humans also could have made complex stuff.
And I've been thinking about this a lot, mabey Toads people really arn't that tech knowledgable. Look at all the freakin monolithic sized engines and machinery we got ( dams, transport ships, power plants, trains ).
Toads seem to have creativity and wisdom, goombas are good at memorizing things, and some humans are just gifted with tools.
Meh something like that.
And the He-man seems to have about the same tech as the Mushroom Worlds. Or about 5 years more advanced.

I like the E. Gadd theory. If time travel's not beyond him, I doubt much is.
Do you think anti-aging tech or pills or whatever has been invented on Mushroom Earth?

Your talking about the Mario Bros. not aging ever thing arn't you?
In the Narnia series it talks about everything there being so pure and stuff that people seem to get stronger/braver/ more courage. I kinda think the Mushroom Worlds like that.
I think they have the magic or technology to make you look younger ( something like plastic surgery I geuss ).

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Even though Mario's age and appearance are reconcilable now, in ten or fifteen years, we'll have to have a new explanation for his youthful body.
I think you're getting at something with that Narnia theory. Time doesn't pass more slowly on Mushroom Earth; the residents just don't show their age as much.

About satellites, I believe Ralpheal's moon in YI isn't natural. It has patches all over it and is too small to be an actual moon. This is my theory, disagree as you may: Ralphael has a strong interest for astronomy. He built the moon to get closer to them to see them better and without the distraction of lights. With a few modifications, it became a battle arena.

Well all the bosses were just regular enemys before kamek used his magic on them, so maybe the castle itself was desighned for astronomy, It is floating in the air after all.

It's possible that Raphael's Moon is just another blob of rock in space, like the SMGxy landmasses.

But it looks artificial...also, you can see the clouds, suggesting it not be that far away (like a satellite). I want to know how it can have enough gravity to support Ralphael's weight.
