Curses Nintendo, messing with my brain! Is Super Mario 3D supposed to be a new adventure, a remake of Super Mario Bros. 3, or what? Also, the Racoon Leaf transformed Mario into Tanooki Mario (Which is normally done with, well, the Tanooki Suit!), so I'm going to assume Nintendo has retconned the two; Thus the Tanooki Leaf is born! I'd rather this be a new adventure, though... Oh, and how could I forget, there is no Life Meter in this game! Super Mario 3D uses the traditional "Small Mario <> Super Mario <> Special Mario" mechanic. Also, the Airship Demo Level were Mario fought Boom Boom at the end was W2-5, which means theirs probably at least 10 Levels per World, and at least 8 Worlds, so that'd be 80 Levels, give or take a few. Also, what do you guys think of the gameplay so far? It seems pretty unique to me sort of like a 3D Sidescroller, strange as it sounds. I think this is cool gameplay and all, but I would rather them save this for Mario's portable outings, while keeping the home console titles in line with Super Mario 64/Sunshine/Galaxy.

This... IS a portable title isn't it? I dunno, if anything this game is showing that the 3DS is just as capable as the Wii is and was.

Sorry KingKoopa, I didn't mean to imply that Super Mario 3D wasn't a portable title, I mean, it IS for Nintendo 3DS, but that the type of gameplay that it has should remain exclusive to Mario's portable outings. Also, I'd like to see 3D Classics: Super Mario Bros. 3 released on Nintendo eShop to coincide with this games launch! Maybe even through in local wireless 2-player co-op (ala NSMBWii, minus the Toads), and for them to use the Touch Screen similarly to how it was done on NSMBDS; Awesome or what? Definitely worth $6 or 7$ USD.
