I forget what game Phoenix Down is from but I think it is the 1-up of some RPG. 3-UP moon in from Super Mario World.

Final Fantasy, I believe.
Don't ask me how I know this, considering I never played a Final Fantasy game.

You've never played a Final Fantasy game before?!?! My God! You don't know what you're missing!
Final Fantasy is where I pulled some of the inspiration for this Mario story I'm writing.

Me either. I could just get the original on Virtual Console, but I'm too lazy.

You should probably start out with Final Fantasy 4 or 6. Those games are hailed as some of the best in the series, and unlike the first game, they have Chocobos, Moogles, and Cid shows up, too.

6 is, by far, the best one, story-wise, in my eyes. If you were to ever play Final Fantasy, you should play that one first.

Meh, I like to play games chronologically though. Even if they have nothing to do with each other.

Meh, I like to play games chronologically though. Even if they have nothing to do with each other. Well if you're going to do that, you should probably stay away from 2 and 3 unless they're the remade versions. Otherwise, you'll be entering JRPG hell.

JRPG? What? OH! That reminds me! I FINALLY got Super Mario RPG for the Virt. Console! (Though I still need a Virtual Controller, and I have a losing streak against Croco...) Nah, Gamecube controllers work just as good. I should know. I've used one for years.

Spam Fireball. Mallow's completely useless, unless you keep your Flower Points up. It's better worth your time to use his magic at this point in the story. You know he's almost dead when he pulls out the Weird Mushroom, so just keep wailing on him.
Unless you're talking about the second fight. In which case, I don't know.
Anyway, let's get back on track. You'll never be useful engines that way.
