I know what it's called. But, you do it all... the... time... Do you want the forum to become a boring place where everyone agrees with everyone, or something ? And how do you develop a better understanding of the Marioverse ? You're hurting my feelings. Seriously. I didn't know I was THAT disagreable.

Me: "I guess you're just a disagreeable person." Koopalmier: "I disagree." lol. Nevermind. Forget I said anything. I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings.

I'm serious. Sorry if I'm disagreable, I don't mean it.

I'll tell you one thing: I'm certainly not in favor of the "Magical Birth" theory. I'm much more willing to believe that the storks were delivering them from hospitals. Me too. It makes more sense than the Mario Bros appearing from out of nowhere. Although I do find it very irresponsible of the parents to just leave them in hospital when the mother should be in hospital with them.

Many areas of the planet are very dangerous and rugged, with "endless" pits everywhere, monsters behind every bush, etc. Maybe that's why someone (maybe the Stars ?) created a hospital somewhere in the world where babies would be brought and taken care of for a small amount of time.

....I still can't believe I'm the only one who's willing to go with the "babies come from the sky" concept.

I still sorta believe that idea Dinosaur, but I'm not sure either way.

....I still can't believe I'm the only one who's willing to go with the "babies come from the sky" concept. I'm also willing to go for it, but I slighty prefer my theory because I'm putting magic behind logic. I still think your theory makes more sense than mine.

....I still can't believe I'm the only one who's willing to go with the "babies come from the sky" concept. Is that meant to be a joke or are you actually being serious? I can't believe you can't believe you are the only one who believes that. If you seriously think other people would believe that then I don't know what to think about you.

Er... I'm willing to believe it.
I mean, it's not much of a stretch once you think about it. We have the Star Spirits granting wishes, Mushrooms that can give you weird powers and transformations, and even Shy Guys.
Oh, the Shy Guys...

If you seriously think other people would believe that then I don't know what to think about you. Have you forgotten that this is the same world were a little Italian guy can stomp out missiles with his feet, shoot fire out of his hands, make a wish on a living star and have it come true, lift a gigantic monster turtle and still have time to participate in sports competitions and go-kart races in between all his adventuring and princess-rescuing? I can't believe you can't believe I can't believe....ah forget it.

It happens the little Italian guy's epicness level is between Chuck Norris' and Vegeta (not the same can be said about his manliness though).
... with a power-up.
We don't know how much time goes by between the games.
I know what you mean, but give better arguments please. Many other series also have this kind of surreal things, yet they don't scrap the idea of logic.

How is it perfectly logical for stars to grant wishes but not logical for there to be a place in the sky where babies come from and get delivered by storks?
This is a problem I've begun to notice with you, Koopalmier (and maybe a few others): Selective subscription. You say you subscribe to one notion but then shoot down another even if both notions are on the same wavelength or have little to no reason to be shot down.

How is it perfectly logical for stars to grant wishes but not logical for there to be a place in the sky where babies come from and get delivered by storks? Because cosmic ordering and prayers are more likely to exist in real life than babies coming from the sky. I do believe in spirits and spirit guides as well although I'm not a religious person.

Mario is about as much based on real life as Zelda is based on the actual Middle Ages, Metroid is based on actual space travel, and Kirby is based on actual marshmallows. I.e. not at all.

So what. Most of what happens in the Mario universe can be explained theoritically. What cannot be explained is the inplausable theory that babies come from the sky. I mean, come on....
I know the Mario universe has magic and stuff but even that is a bit too farfetch'd even for the Mario Universe.
