Okay, just putting this out in the open, I do personally like to believe that it's Kamek making an appearance rather than just a random Magikoopa, but I'm just saying that there's no concrete evidence to say that it's truely him.

Agreed. I think that Kamek is pretty much any Magikoopa that doesn't just appear as a standard enemy(Like the one in Yoshi Star Galaxy), but the one who appeared at the beginning of Super Mario Galaxy would be him, or, so I believe.

I mean, I thought Kamella was a chicken before SMG!

Nah , it's more poetic if the one guarding Yoshi in SMG2 is also Kamek. He's getting old though, so maybe that's why he was easily defeated?
About E. Gadd, YES. He would've been perfect for both SMG1 and SMG2!

Moreso SMG2, what with the Faceship needing repairs and all that.
IN FACT! That could have been a pivotal plot point! The Faceship would only actually look like a Faceship after you rescue E. Gadd in one of the galaxies, in which he would take the power stars and use them as raw material in order to build it up! And it would get more attachments with the more powerstars you collected!

EpicGyllynnThis is what I meant when I said that he needs to make a comeback. We shouldn't have to guess or assume that it's him. He should be addressed by name and have a substantial amount of dialogue. He needs to be an actual character again, not just a random foot soldier that happens to have a name.

It's not "guessing" or "assuming". The fact he's separated from the others and, well, actually has a role, undirectly says he's Kamek. It seems pretty obvious to me.
But, if you just mean he needs to get a bigger role, then I agree. He can control time travel (Yoshi's Island DS), right ? Maybe he's the one who saved the Shroobs at the last time and stored them in Bowser's Castle... Maybe he'll indeed have a great role in M&L4 ?

It can't be obvious, if it's not directly stated. He looks identical to all of the other Magikoopas. Just because you (and I) really, really want it to actually be Kamek doesn't mean that it actually is. I especially think that it was a random Magikoopa that attacked Mario in SMG.

He would've been perfect for both SMG1 and SMG2! But, it's pretty obvious by now that Kamek is biologically immortal. Despite being as, if not more, powerful than Kammy Koopa, he also has the ability to control time, and has shown NO physical signs of aging since Bowser was a baby. If that doesn't scream, "Biological Immortality", then I don't know what does. Also... E. Gadd as Major NPC in Super Mario Galaxy 3 CONFIRMED!!! ...I'm sorry, I just had to. |

@gylls: I'm not doubting Kamek's power, I'm just saying that he has to have aged. Besides, he could be using magic to retainhis appearance. If not, then Magikoopas may not show obvious signs of aging.

Anyways, I think that Toadsworth has become kind of forgotten too. I mean he hasn't really appeared in any mainstream games since NSMB. And that was really more of a cameo than anything.
