Which forgotten characters should return?

Thanks! And yeah, I was browsing through the Fungi Forums on TMK and saw someone plug this forum in a really interesting Mariology thread, so I decided to check this place out! The mythology has always been my primary source of interest, when it comes to the Mario games. So, it seemed like a good idea to join.

Sorry to go off-topic, but how active is this forum? Are you 4 the only regulars?

Hi. There's food to your left, and a TV to your right. If you're tired, you can rest on the ground (but it's not very comfortable). An advice: don't touch the bacon, smbmaster did some bizarre stuff with it.

More seriously, well, they are the 4 only regulars. 5 if you count me.

Here's what I have to say about your list:
- Professor E. Gadd : Agree. He should be a regular character again.
- King Boo (the awesome Luigi's Mansion version, not the weird one from SMS) : He did in Super Princess Peach and pretty much every Mario Kart game, although it's true he doesn't look scary/disturbing anymore. Also, the one in SMS is a different character (it's the one from SM64).
- Geno : In Mario Sports Mix, maybe.
- Mallow : Same, although he should also appear in a Mario RPG again, maybe with a minor role.
- Kamek : What ? He appeared in NSMBW, SMG, M&L3... He's always been a regular character.
- Poochie : In a Yoshi's Island game.
- The Star Spirits : No. Except if we get to visit the whole realm of stars, but we'd also see Star Sprites, Star Kids and whatever Geno is then.
- Raphael the Raven : A tribute to it, maybe.

(that's only my opinion, don't kill me or eat my DS)

- Professor E. Gadd: I would seriously love it if he were actually a playable character in some type of spin off. I mean, hey, if we can have Koopa Troopas in Mario Kart and Bloopers in Mario Party, we should have Gadd doing something.
- King Boo: Luigi's Mansion DS... NOW!
- Geno: He better be in Sports Mix, because I think Mr. Chainsaw has a few words to say to the guys at Square Enix...
- Mallow: Minor Role?! I would expect no less than Party member!
- Kamek: Nio way of proveing he was there. For all we know, his most recent appearance might have been M&L: PiT...

It's obvious it's him. He has the same name as his species, so to differenciate him they must separate him from the lot. Whenever you see a single Magikoopa that appears to have a role, then it's obviously Kamek.

And, now that I think about it, the Chancellor (Toad Minister) appeared in M&L3.

You mean that Green Toad in the Intro that had the Blorbs? I'm not sure that's him, but it's possible...

In regards to what I said about Kamek making a comeback, I meant that he should be more established as an actual character (like Kammy Koopa). In all of his "recent appearances" he doesn't have any dialogue and/or nobody refers to him by name (even in the instruction manuals). Any time we see a Magikoopa, we assume that it's Kamek. But, for all we know, we could just be seeing a random Magikoopa hassling Mario and the gang (which I would argue is the case for SMG and M&L3). I would agree that that was probably him in NSMB Wii, though, since he plays the exact same role that he does in Yoshi's Island.

But, I think his last firmly established appearances were in Yoshi's Island DS and Mario Party DS.

They should make Kamek the only one of his species to wear white on his hat. But he's supposed to represent his species in a way... It'd be like giving Toad or Yoshi a different design.

And the fact this Kamek is separated from the others and does many things for Bowser almost prove that it's Kamek. Come on, it's obvious, like, I don't know, a nose on a face !
