Why the crap is she the only major SMB2 character to make an appearance in later games?
I mean sure, we have ShyGuys and Bob-Ombs, but those are just generic enemy-type objects.

Also, how do you guys pronounce Bob-Omb?
I've always said it with the "Bob" and "Omb" seperate, but every time I hear someone use it, they always say "Bubomb." Any takers?

I think the whole "bubomb" thing came from the movie. If it were meant to be pronounced that way, it would be spelt "bo-bomb". |

For what it's worth, unless I was correcting someone's spelling I wouldn't put a glottal stop in "bob-omb", which means only the slightest bit of slurring would turn it into "bubomb".

Well, now that I think about it, I don't actually accentuate the hyphen rather than just use the short O sound.
You know, like in "ROB."

I use the short-o sound and try to accent the first syllable, but when I try saying it out loud I can tell that the accent "wants" to be on the second syllable and if it moves there I will reduce the first vowel to schwa. (I have an aggressive vowel-reduction rule as native English speakers go.) "Bubomb".

I always said "Bob", but if I'm trying to speak fast, it sounds like "Bub"... Oh well.
On Topic: I would love to see Mallow or Geno return in the next Mainstream Game, it doesn't have to be more than a cameo, but their appearance in a Platformer would reinforce continuity greater than, say, a Spin-off(ala Superstar Saga).

Two words: Copyright Infringement. They barely got permission to put Geno in there, even when it was just the character the doll was based off. But I would like some creatures to return, namely the Ameboids, Reacher and Juju (unused green version), stuff like that.

I still really don't understand this about Mallow and Geno.
What's the point of Square still holding onto them if they won't bother to use them again anyway?
If they're Mario characters, then it would make sense for them to be Nintendo-owned. Damned Square...

Well, maybe Nintendo could get Square-Enix to grant them permission to use them in the next Super Smash Bros.(with Geno as a Playable Character, and Mallow as an Assist Trophy  )! |

Maybe Geno and Mallow will be in Mario Sports Mix? Not the best idea, I know, but there is a good chance that it could happen. Then again that is what they said would happen with Mario Hoops...

Sadly I has never played SMRPG so I can't say if Geno is overrated or underrated. However, I do think that E. Gadd should start showing up in games again (seriously where did he go)

What happened to the Chargin' Chucks? They would have been great in NSMBW, and possibly SMG2.
Also, I'd like to see E. Gadd, Jr Troopa, and Kolorado to show up in future Mario works.
As for Wart and Geno; cameos are enough.
