Well, I'll do that after finishing my Mario marathon. From Yoshi's Island to Mario & Luigi 3, all in in-universe chronological order ! But I don't plan to 100% Yoshi's Island. I'm just starting Super Mario Bros.
I wonder, is the DKC gameplay good ? According to Miyamoto, the graphics are awesome, but the gameplay is "meh".

Well, I like the gameplay well enough. I think it's not as good as SMW's, but what it lacks in controls it definitely makes up for in visuals and level design.

Music, definitely! Especially in DKC2, what with memorable tracks like "Stickerbrush Symphony" and "Forest Interlude".

Wasn't that whole Miyamoto deal with Donkey Kong not true after all?

And we still don't get any more info on Pikmin 3 other than the obvious...

Not only that, but apparently he's back to his old self. That is, being a crotchety old man.
I love the faces of those hippos in the trailer.
EDIT: Another new video!!!
I seriously love the look of those Cliffside/Desert levels. Escpecially the Dry Bones-esque dinosaur enemies.
EDIT2: Another video, with gravity-based gameplay!
This= me buying on Day 1.

Well, Retro said the game is tough as nails. (Just the challenge I need)
Also, am I the only one who was reminded of Kazooie when I saw that bird boss?
EDIT: Probably the last trailer for the game. At around :45, you can see they changed the statues.

Kazooie? Reminded me more of an angry Ho-Oh

Whatever. It was probably based on the Rocs from Jungle Beat (grrr) anyway.
Well, only a few weeks now. I really love the way the lead Tiki is called "Kalimba", thus continuing the tradition of puns.

Pun? I see no pun. Then again, I am very idiot...

Is that supposed to be a play on Kali Ma or something?

It's sort of like the "Northern Kremispere and Northern Hemisphere. Or like K. Rool and"cruel". It's a pun, since a kalimba is a type of flute (I think).
If you look closely, a lot of the tikis are based on instruments. More B-K influence perhaps?
