Well, then it's a bad way to show that drugs are bad. Besides the music, the trippy colors are quite interesting, and the effect simply wears off. The worst things about real drugs aren't the effects why people take them (the "high", the "rush" etc.), but the lasting damage they do to your body.
I think the best fictional representation of drugs I've seen in a game in Kingdom of Loathing, where there's an item that will give you insane stat boosts, but the next day you are completely weakened by a hangover, and you must keep taking it to not experience the hangover, yet the boosts are always getting smaller. Also, the hangover is almost uncurable. THAT is why drugs are bad.

The "dizzy" gameplay is extremely annoying. The effects may be interesting, but the gameplay becomes very messed up and you have many, many chances to eventually fall into a botomless pit and lose a life.

Painful memories of the Super Mario Brothers movie come flooding back.

It was an atrocious portrayal of the Mario bros. wasn't it. But I can't help feel a bit Nostalgic when watching it(I've had it since I was 5 Years-old), so I pop it in the VCR occasionally. Don't judge!

Inaccurate as it is, I can't help but like it. It even inspired me to come up with an original comic/cartoon idea with similar themes.

I liked the movie. I didn't saw it in a while but I still liked it. It's like a non-serious movie full of Mario references.

I liked the movie regardless of whether it was Mario-related or not. Those police cars were awesome!

Okay, I can't argue it was an awesome attempt at creating a more serious, steampunk version of Mario's world. Shame it wasn't that great as a movie, though.

It wasn't steampunk it was cyberpunk, or something close to it anyway. I liked the movie regardless of whether it was Mario-related or not. Those police cars were awesome! There's this one scene where a half-wrecked taxi drives by, and it appears to have a rotting skeleton with ripped clothes and everything wedged in its hood. Freaky stuff man.

Well it was a humanoid skeleton, but the movie had a lot of off-beat background references, so who knows?

By the way, does anyone else think it's easier to get the sixth Shine in Ricco Harbor by getting the coins yourself, without riding the Bloopers?
