Well, this is actually quite a common forumgame, but I didn't think about making it here until a certain Mr. Bean picture showed up in one of the discussion topics. Anyway the rules are 1. Post a funny picture the funniest picture wins 2. Since this game goes on forever no one actually wins the point is just to find something funnier than the last picture 3. Anything goes, comics, pics, your own creations, just don't post anything that will cause loss of eyesight. Remember this is supposed to be funny, not nightmare causing Anyway, I'll start

Well, I'm really honoured that my reply gave you that idea, but... this isn't really "theorizing" or has anything to do with it, so I guess we better try to keep it Mario-related at least, or else WE WILL DIE! On topic:

We should at least try to keep the posts Nintendo related, but if there is one non Nintendo joke every once in a while, I don't think it would matter

Sure, Nintendo-related, then it's videogame-related, and before we know it, this isn't Mariology anymore, but Kamikaze Koopa's Funtime General Discussion Forum, where we talk about school and football. NO.

... Nintendo related is big enough that the limit doesn't have to be expanded. And just to be fair, this IS the general discussion. But I really wouldn't want the forum to become an off-topic place.

Anyway, the humor in that picture comes from the fact that there are two kinds of Fuzzies - the white one that act as hallucinogens, and the black ones that should not be consumed at all. He uses the wrong kind to spike the FALCON PU-

In other words, there's Fuzzies from Yoshi's Island, (Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy.)
And there's Fuzzies from the Paper Mario series, (Meoooooooork!!!) And... More recently, in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
In this pic, Wario mixed the two of them up, and put in the Paper Mario Fuzzy.

The black Fuzzy was in Super Mario World first. They also showed up in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

The "white" Fuzzies are called Watabôs (basically "cotton people") in Japan. The Japanese version doesn't say anything about being "dizzy" either. The scene is quite obviously a drug reference (well, that's a joke). To avoid that, the American translators changed the mission's title to tell you you get dizzy when touching them, and they renamed them Fuzzies to even more show you you simply get dizzy. Obviously, they didn't remember there were already enemies called like that in Super Mario World. Or they did it at the last moment, in a hurry, while testing the game. Let's go back to teh topic. Umm... I can't find an image that I find funny. Except on Brawl in the Family.

Similar to how, in Wario Land II, the penguins throw black balls at Wario to make him dizzy in Western releases, while, in the Japanese release, they threw mugs of beer at him to make him drunk.

The SMW2 drug experience is more important because it doesn't only affect the gameplay, it affects everything - including the graphics - as if you were the one experiencing it. In a way, it was a way to say "don't do drugs, kids".
