Power-Ups!!

Toads can use power-ups in NSMBWii. Doesn't seem like too big of a stretch to assume they'd be able to use the SMG power-ups as well.

What about other Races such as Koopas? We know they can use Cape Feathers(I Believe that's the Name), and I would assume they can use Fire Flowers(Fire Bros.) and Snow Flowers(Snow Bros.), so it's not a stretch to assume they could use Super Mushrooms... Hey, maybe thats what the Bros. are! Armored Koopa Troopas using Super Mushrooms! Thats probably just Wishful thinking though... Also, sorry I wasn't on earlier Today but I started School back, and have been having PC troubles(I could just Go back to Posting on my DSi), so I won't be able to Post till at least after 3 during the Week, but during the Weekends I can Post normally! But I'll still Log-in on my Phone to check for Updates

I guess a Hammer Bro is a normal Koopa Troopa using a Hammer Bro Suit. And a Tanoomba is a Goomba using a Tanooki suit, maybe? So, they can use at least some items.

No I think Tanoombas are an actual species, and Hammer Bros, look too different in appearance to be Koopas wearing a suit. And I don't think that Fire and Snow Bros have the respective power-up that it seems that they use. But on another note, I don't think that Bowser can use Power-Ups regularly, because in the cartoon Ludwig had to make a potion for Bowser that would let him use power-ups, it also let him combine them though.

But we all know Koopas and Hammer Bros. are very closely related. They even seem to be of the same species with different heads - i.e. Hammer Bros. have a head behind their eyes and Koopa Troopas don't.

Oh, this is sort of offtopic, but has to do with Bowser using power-ups... I always thought it would be awesome for a final battle in a Mario game to be an aerial battle: Mario vs. Bowser, both with the Cape power-up. Sure, Bowser has the Koopa Clown Car, but the very idea of a flying Bowser is too awesome.

Bowser can fly in Galaxy so it is a possibility. Although Mario flying would have to be with some power-up that we haven't seen before as no flying-power up has enough flight power to last the entirety of a boss fight, plus Mario wouldn't really be able to do much with the cape suit as he is holding on to the cape with his hands and feet.

Well, a P-Wing could last that long, and allow Mario to do stuff and then resume flight.

Although the constant ringing sound would make this the top of every "Most Annoying Boss Battle" list ever. Seriously, what were they thinking when they made the P-Wing ring all the time? It should be obvious that you can fly, can't just the bar flash? Is it to make it less fun to use and less likely to be abused?

The noise never bothered me that much. Mostly because I had lost half of my sanity on the airship levels that I had to use the P-Wings on.

Well, a Goomba couldn't wear a Tanooki(Or Hammer, or Frog, or Penguin) Suit, because they only fit Human(oid)s. My guess is the Raccoon Leaf, also, I wonder what the Tanooki Suit would look like had it been Developed for, say, New Super Mario Bros. Wii? His newer Suits all seem to implement his Overalls in some way, I think his Ovaralls would turn Brown with Dark Brown Tanooki Stripes, while his shirt and hat would remain Red, he would sprout Ears... OR his Overalls would turn Red, while his Shirt turned Brown with Tanooki Stripes, he of course, would also sprout Tails and Ears! I like the second Idea better, I could see that in a Modern Mario Game!

The tanooki suit would make Mario look like a raccoon in overalls? If they make a new Tanooki Suit it should look somewhat like it did in SMB3

I think it would look Cooler like the Modern Mario Suits by implementing his Overalls(See:Penguin, and Bee Suits)!

Nah, if you put the Tanooki Suit with overalls, you might as well put Donkey Kong in overalls

They don't have to be Overalls on the Tanooki, per say, just implemented into the Overall Design of the Suit! On Topic:How do Snow Flowers really affect your Appearance? Do you turn into a Moving Sculpture, like in Super Mario Galaxy, or is it simply a Re-coloring of your Clothes? And does it let you throw Snowballs, or Freeze the Surface of Liquids? Thoughts!

Just like there are both Fire Flowers that are permanent power-ups and the weaker version that run out over time or can be used as one-off attack items, so do the "stable" Ice Flowers just recolor your clothes and the less permanent, but more intense variety turn you into ice.

I never thought there where different Varieties of Fire Flowers, I just assumed Mario could keep them for a Long Period of time for Average Effect(Side-Scrollers), OR use them for a Short Burst of Intense Damage(Paper Mario, Super Smash Bros.)! I suppose I could explain Snow Flowers(I know they are called Ice Flowers, but I think Snow is more appropriate) the same Way!

It should really be Ice Flowers for SMG and Snow Flowers for NSMBW, or just a neutral name like Frost Flowers that fits both AND would be an alliteration like Fire Flowers.

Both are named Ice Flower. One is a space variety and one isn't. I propose we call the SMG Ice Flowers "Cosmic Ice Flowers", because they are cosmic Ice Flowers.
