You know, Miyamoto's the only one who doesn't care. And NoA as a whole, if that counts. Don't forget that AlphaDream made the M&L series (thus Miyamoto didn't do much, if he did anything) and that people from Nintendo added the Rosalina backstory in SMG without Miyamoto's permission (if they asked him, he'd have said "no" anyway).

Wow. I have a copy of ML PiT so Ill go back through to find some untranslated text and find out what its all about. May take me a week or two, though, and in about a week my time on here will be seriously cut.

Miyamoto is a genius... he just thinks that Mario games don't need story to be awesome. And it is true, Mario games have proven that games do not need a story to be awesome (SMG2 anyone). He does realize the importance of story in other games however.

There's the intro, the ending, and when the Observatory gains more and more power. That's pretty much everything. It has barely more story than SMG2, and less than SMS.

See, since my bro and I may both want to play RPGs ath the same time, we each get our own copy of those. We bought them both at the local Gamestop. And I found a dollar on the floor yesterday at MY high school. Anyways, most of the text scrolls too fast to record (it doesnt wait for you to push a button) so I will need to check certain cutscenes on Youtube. I have found one new hrase, however.

seems to be used as 'Oops' and 'Huh?' as an unseen Shroob UFO near Hollijolli says it before dropping a Shrooblet on Luigis head, and two others in the village utter it as a question before a third yells at them and they attack Mario and Luigi.

"dc" is "destroy". The "h" may refer to a question, much like how it works in English (like "how", "what", "why"). Or I may simply be delirious due to the fact I'm tired to death. Either way, it may mean they wonder "should we destroy it/that?" instead of just going "huh?", showing their destructive nature.

Maybe that the "h" is "ka", then. It's not what I said, but still works.
Out of curiosity, how can you write Japanese text ? Is there, like, a database with every single kana and kanji than you can copy-paste, or did you do some special configuration to your computer, or what ?
