I suck at intros, so let's get right to the reason I started this topic: Has Rosalina really been around for hundreds of years? Special relativity says that time does weird stuff at lightspeeds, and time passes faster with less nearby gravity, but it doesn't match what Nintendo seems to be implying here.
(Of course, you can discuss anything Rosalina-related here if you want.)

but it doesn't match what Nintendo seems to be implying here. ...So what do you think Nintendo is implying? I personally think the light-speed thing fits perfectly. If you had two twins and one got in a rocket that went light-speed and flew all around the universe and came back to earth, the one that stayed behind would be much older than the other. -- And staying on the whole Rosalina theories topic, dispite what Nintendo doesn't say, I belive that she and Peach are distantly related. After all, they both seem to be from a royal family. (not to metion they look pretty similar)

If you had two twins and one got in a rocket that went light-speed and flew all around the universe and came back to earth, the one that stayed behind would be much older than the other. That is true; however Nintendo seems to be implying that Rosalina succeeds at returning every century on the dot. The only way to know how long it's been in the not-moving-at-lightspeed world would be to use a bunch of complicated math which, frankly, is probably way above her. I guess some braniac Luma (such as Polari) could get an approximation together, but it's a bit of a stretch.

Rosalina has magic powers. (Try jumping on her.) With that, she could just time-warp from place to place and time to time.

Wait, not getting off of this discussion, but one question: If Rosetta died in Super Mario Galaxy, why's she in Mario Kart Wii?

Who said she died?

At the end of Galaxy, she and all of her Lumas sacrificed themselves to stop the unviverse from literally imploding!

Nah, they just used their power. They didn't kill themselves.

:/ I dunno, it seemed like they died. I haven't seen the ending in a while, so IDK.

Rosalina always seemed like a god-like figure to me, so I don't think she can.

The fatal flaw with the ending of SMGxy is that black holes aren't big four-dimensional vacuum cleaners like most people believe. They're just objects with so much mass that it's dangerous to get too close to them. In fact, if the Sun were to instantly get replaced with a black hole of the same mass, Earth's orbit would not be affected.
However, black holes can evaporate through something called Hawking radiation. Because Lumas can naturally produce mass from nowhere, they could have produced a bunch of Hawking radiation to evaporate the black hole.

...Wow your idea makes a lot more sense then mine. I thought that the universe did get destroyed, but the lumas (being able to transform into stuff.) recreated everything. What made me think that the most is the fact that Mario says "welcome new galaxy" at the very end, making it seem like the old one was gone.

Really?
I want to know why Dino Pirahna was in Toad Town at the end of the game, too.

All the characters were partying. 0_o
And Rosalina seems to be imortal, it's the only thing that makes sence.
And anyone who says Rosalina and Peach are related ever again can prepare to die a horrible death.

I'm not saying that's defiantly true, after all, it's said Nintendo scrapped that idea way before the game was released. But they are both princesses and they look a heck of a lot alike.
...your going to hurt me now, aren't you?

Heck yeah I'm going to hurt you. So what you are saying here is that all it takes for a princess to be related to another princess is for their hair color to be similer? Are you saying that Princess Daisy is related to Princess Shokora, hmm?
Well if you'll excuse me, I have to go load up my Bill Blaster.
