Actually, I don't believe there's any proof that Rosalina is actually a princess...she seems to be a queen more than anything.

Or just a normal lady who's a few hundred years old. And btw, I believe that they probably are related, pretaining to the fact Peach had that silver luma. Well, maybe that's reading in between the lines too much, but still.

Maybe rosalina lived in mushroom castle at some time and maybe the pricness before peach or an ancestor. or someting. She wears a crown and there was a picture of her near a tree at the castle or something. I havent played SMG in a while so i will have to double check some things.

I just thought about something. She could be Peach's Mother or Grandma since she is so old. It does make sense, as not much is known about the Mushroom Kingdom before Mario and Luigi came there.

I'd imagine Rosalina is much older than that, and the way that she refers to Peach as Mario's "special one" makes it seem like she barely knows her.

Actually I think she is pretty old now because I remember her saying that she visits MW every 100 years, and she made it sound like she had done it more than once. ((Or at least once))

I personally think the light-speed thing fits perfectly. If you had two twins and one got in a rocket that went light-speed and flew all around the universe and came back to earth, the one that stayed behind would be much older than the other. That is true; however Nintendo seems to be implying that Rosalina succeeds at returning every century on the dot. The only way to know how long it's been in the not-moving-at-lightspeed world would be to use a bunch of complicated math which, frankly, is probably way above her. I guess some braniac Luma (such as Polari) could get an approximation together, but it's a bit of a stretch. Or perhaps the Speed that she's traveling combined with the size of the Universe would just so happen to make her pass by ME every century? Its just a thought, but, you never know!

Or she simply knows how fast she goes and how does the MW's calendar goes compared to her speed because she's simply not stupid.

Time goes differently for her because she travels at lightspeed 24/24, but she may know when to come back on the Mushroom World (every 100 year on the planet's calendar) because she's not stupid and can caclulate what time it is on the planet while she's travelling.

It isn't really a matter of being not stupid but rather a matter of being smart.

Oh you meant she isn't stupid to know what time it is on the ME. I thought you meant something else

We don't actually know that Rosalina comes back ever 100 ME years. She could come back every 100 Comet Observatory years. I think that this is more likely since she has such knowledge of the universe. She wouldn't if she had only experienced a few years on the starship. Thus, I believe that this is true, and she is immortal.

The comet goes through the MW's sky every century, on the point of view of the kingdom's inhabitants. So she comes back every 100 MW years. Also don't be fooled, the "travel to light-speed = different time" thing doesn't mean she only travelled for some years on her side. She must have travelled for, like, between 6 and 10 years. Or more.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the comet. Wow, this is all confusing.

More confusing than the Zelda Time Line?

Here's a question for you guys, where did Rosalina get her powers (Forcefield, Telekinesis, etc.)? Maybe it's from eating all of those Star Bits for hundreds of years?
