Try it on Eeries, then. They have the same attack pattern as Ghost Goombas with many similar traits. You will find they are also invincible. I don't know where you evidence is with the whole Ghost Goombas in RPG's=weak arguement. Is it because they are small ghosts derived from pathetically eak enemies? Because Ghoul Guy in PiT shares all of those qualities and is pretty tough.

a Ghoul Guy is probably the ghost version of a elite shyguy... So perhaps there would be Boombas, stronger than Goombas, but not by alot, and Hyper Boombas? maybe...

Why not by a whole lot? Elite Shy Guys are much stronger than normal ones.

Dry Bones aren't amazingly stronger than Koopas... I was thinking that Hyper Boomba=Ghoul Guy, and Boomba=Boo Guy...

Hyper Goombas also aren't that much stronger than normal Goombas other than the fact that they can charge up energy. What are these Boombas of which you speak?

The same ghost goombas of wich you keep saying are invincible. But in early mario games boos were also invincible, and really anoying, but in the rpg they wern't invinvible. They were preatty weakin both PM and ML games and their only useful ability was turning invisable (not invincible). And you try to compare boombas to eries but goombas are soft mushrooms ehile eries are dinosaure ghost. What do really think is stronger when it comes to taking a hit. A Dinosaure? or a Mushroom.......?

Oh. I was trying to figure that name out for days...Anyway, Boos are not invincible in platformers. I know for a fact that you can kill them with both hammers and Starmen. I'm not saying Eeries are completely accurate...I'm saying they're the closest thing we have to compare it to. And don't start with Goombas=more squishable than dinosaurs. In YI they popped back up, but Rexes have always had their squishability. And you can't really compare Boombas to Goombas because the creatures on ME change drastically when they die.

I don't think Eeries are the ghosts of Rexes.

That's not the point. It's just that Rexes are dinosaurs and are just as squishable or perhaps more so as Goombas.

They are slightly less squishible than goombas. But you don't see any yoshis, dino-rinos, or renznor getting squished do you...Or Blargs, or ...well I guess Dino-rinos kind of shrink in size. That's kind of weird. Why do Dino-rinos shrink when you step on them.

I think they were magically enhanced by Bowser. I believe the Mini-Rhino is a real creature, whereas the Dino Rhino is just meant to look intimidating. Once the shock of an attack happens, they transform back into their original state. Or possibly the Mini-Rhino is fake, as a last-ditch attempt to beat Mario. But I definately think magic's involved.

I agree. There really is no other way...

I think that the dino-rinos are the adult form of a mini-rino/dino-torch. But I have no explanation for dino-rinos turning into mini-rinos when jumped on so I'll chalk it up to magic.

boombas would be weak in an RPG because the undead isn't much tougher than the alive counter part, also if eeries were in an RPG theyed be easy to kill too.
Intimidation illusion, eh?

Invincible=a lot tougher than a Goomba. Why is it weak? There is nothing proving Boombas or Eeries would be weak in RPG's, so we have to go by the platformers, since they aren't in an RPG. Like I said, Ghoul Guys are much stronger than Shy Guys and are their undead counterparts.

how many games did eerie and bomba appear in? on each, there is noting to go on. and boos used to be invincible little bastards tha only upon rare chance could you actually knock them out, now you can kill them just by jumping on them. If bombas and eeries had more games and were in the RPG's they would die faster too

So do Dry Bones, so you can't really exclude them from consideration of RPGs but include Eeries and Boombas.
