But it's not one of those run-of-the-mill, tournament-style, predictable, friendly get-togethers that the Mushroom Kingdom holds annually. It's no different from Super Mario Bros. 2 as far as canon goes. The only difference between it and a game like that is the way it's played. If Diddy Kong Racing were a platformer instead, then would you accept it? Just because it's a sports-related game doesn't mean it's one in the traditional, unimportant sense of the term. I can see why (although I don't agree with it) you choose to ignore stuff like Mario Kart 64. But Diddy Kong Racing is an entirely different situation.

Just wanted to say that I've spotted two more Koopa Klan weapons in Super Mario Sunshine. The first is a small turtle-like boat that Bowser Jr used to kidnap Peach, and the second is the Mecha-Bowser from the first Pinna Park episode.

Yeah that boats tight. I think the giant robot Bowser was a one time thing though.

Yeah, Mario destroyed it. But then again, he destroyed all the tanks and everything from SMB3 too.

I'm at school again (no home computer because the guy that's fixing it is taking so long). I've been wondering if Bowser still uses these things. Obviously he hasn't in a long while, but do you guys think he is still capable?

I don't see why not.

He probably doesn't use them, then, because of that agreement he and the Mushroom Kingdom entered into. The one you came up with, Kamikaze.

Ah, thank you Claws. That probably would be a good explanation.

Or Mario destroyed them.

That's true. But he might have built more of them.

Probably not because he could have used up all the wood resources.

Ah, I forgot about wood being a precious commodity in the Mushroom Dimension. So most likely he didn't build any more of them.

In Paper Mario in Bowser's castle in the beginning there's all this lava and machinery. Could that stuff have been used to power the castle or make weapons or what?

I was thinking it was used to power the castle, but I guess it could be used to build weapons. I thought he probably had factories for that kind of thing, though.

Great thought on the roto disks from SMB3: In the war ghosts where on the Yoshi's side since the ghosts lived on the island. The only way to stop a ghost would be to use some source of energy; roto disks. A roto disk probably is a huge cluster of dense energy, orbiting an energy emiter; the ball. They're portable, sheilds a small area on all sides every few moments, and deadly.

That energy-ball theory makes sense, but what kind of energy would it be made of? Most ghosts seem to be invulnerable to fire and therefore heat energy. Maybe the energy gives off a series of pulses that disrupts the ghost's ectoplasm? Or it could be a blob of plasma, because its ionic properties would not only disrupt things but cause it to hold its shape.
(I really have no clue about Roto-Disks, having never heard of them, but this seems plausible from what YM said.)

id rule out the plasma idea because if marios economics are to the real physics of the real world plasma canot be held the human hand id go with the energy gives off a series of pulses that disrupts the ghost's ectoplasm theory

It woudn't be held you would only hold the ball as the energy spins around it.

ahh i see what you mean ok well maybe the plasma theory could be corect but how would you get plasma in the mario world would they create it like we do and if so how would they store it

I just think it's energy of some kind. Collected probably magnetically around the sphere naturally.
