Considering every Mario game (except SSBM) has been rated E, I doubt you'll find any good blade references. If there's no blood, there's no use for a blade. Try innovating for your movie. Make koopatrol carry swords or something. You doesn't have to be EXACTLY true to the game. Part of the fun of making your own story is showing what the games don't show you.
