This post has had the original content removed because the idea of recording our matches has been accepted. Also, as soon as someone is confirmed to have MKDS, their table is posted here. Claws | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Ranking | 2-player | 7 | 5 | | | +2 | 3-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 0 | 4-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | Friend Code: | 171 | 858 | 228 | 396 | +2 |
PDoogan | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Ranking | 2-player | 3 | 5 | | | -2 | 3-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 0 | 4-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | Friend Code: | 210 | 518 | 354 | 412 | -2 |
Toomai | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Ranking | 2-player | 2 | 2 | | | 0 | 3-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 0 | 4-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | Friend Code: | 000 | 061 | 951 | 033 | 0 |
L.D. | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Ranking | 2-player | 0 | 0 | | | 0 | 3-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 0 | 4-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | Friend Code: | 124 | 616 | 037 | 495 | 0 |
Rex | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Ranking | 2-player | 0 | 0 | | | 0 | 3-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 0 | 4-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | Friend Code: | 399 | 535 | 016 | 509 | 0 |
Hammer Mario | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Ranking | 2-player | 0 | 0 | | | 0 | 3-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 0 | 4-player | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | Friend Code: | 266 | 355 | 555 | 410 | 0 |
In a 2-player game, you'd get +1 for 1st and -1 for 2nd. For 3 players, 1st gets +1, 2nd gets 0, and 3rd gets -1. For 4 players, 1st/2nd/3rd/4th goes like +1/+0.5/-0.5/-1. This total would show your standings in our forum racing.

It's a great idea, how did you make that cool chart?

It's made with the tags. Same use as things like bold and italic. |

Awesome idea, Toomai! I'll definitely be participating. I hope to play many matches against all of you.

I've read that you can't control when to start a match, so in matches that involve us and someone else, it'll be pruned down. Example: between two of us and two others, it'd be marked as a one-on-one between the two of us.
You know, just in case non-members slip in.

Yeah, I'll be Claws, Claws84, or some other variation of Claws. I'll post it here when I'm sure. By the way, has anybody picked up the game yet?

I forgot about the ability to only allow in friends.

I bought it today. First of all, it's much more MK64-esque than MKDD-esque, which should be a reassurance to most fans. Second, the locations are very inspired and seem to have a lot more character than the ones in MKDD. However, I didn't like MKDD.
Can't wait to get online. I'm awaiting a USB/Ethernet adaptor in the mail so that I can connect the wireless router I bought to my dinosaur of a computer.

As you all probably know, each of us will be given a friend code. To make it easier to find each other online, we should store our friend codes on this site somewhere. Do you guys want to make a new topic for that or should we start placing them here?

If you tell me what they are, I'll put them in the score tables in the first post.
By the way, which game does the drifting seem to be taken from? MK64, MKSC, or MKDD?

I haven't extensively played MKSC. I'd describe it as a cross between MK64 and MKDD, with a heavier emphasis on MK64.
By the way, my nickname is Claws, and my friend code is 171858-228396. I've played online, and it's really fun. The races are always very close. Best of all, there's no computer cheating.

By the way, which game does the drifting seem to be taken from? MK64, MKSC, or MKDD? The drifting thing started in MK64 but nobody ever used it it was like the Double Dash version where you had to jump and then keep flicking the steering to the opposite direction you where turning until the clouds behind you kart turned red. The Super Circuit controls were simpler, as you only had to jump and then hold down the D pad in the direction you were going until a blue flash appeared behind you.

You have to alternate between the left and right sections of the D-pad to build up a mini-turbo while power sliding, but there are only two stages of sparks instead of the three in MKDD.

Uh, that's not what I meant. Do you travel in a big arc like MK64/SC or a small arc from MKDD?

A big arc. I got the game yesterday and already unlocked all the characters. I think this one might be the best one to date. The sence of speed is incredible. Way beyond that of the other 4 games.
