Hello, everyone! It's me, Artemendo! Please, anyone reading this, tell me if you're still here, and together we can revive the in-depth Mario fandom! I am in the process of getting Waluigious back up as part of Supper Mario Broth (www.suppermariobroth.com). If you still like Mario, join me and it can be like the old times again!

Yay! All right, thank you so much! My plan so far is to get Waluigious restored and use the Supper Mario Broth following to get more people reading it. I will expand into further networks as well. You can help - if you want - by getting people to read the blog (once it's up, of course!) Do you think this forum can be revived or should I just start a new one from scratch? This one has the disadvantage that no one is an admin or mod, meaning spammers could bring the entire thing down. Also, it seems like the forum is deteriorating, I see a lot of broken images.

Well getting all the people who use this forum to move would be pretty easy. There's only like, 5 or 6 of us now. And having a new forum associated with suppermariobroth would bring a lot more traffic then telling people about this place.

OK, I am glad you agree! However, let's hear the other members' opinions on that matter.

New Waluigious, new forums, and hopefully new members. There isn't anything much else that can be said, aside from what has already been said here. You can count me in.

Great! Thanks, Koopalmier! In the meantime, if you want non-picture Mario content, you can check out my Twitter account at twitter.com/MarioBrothBlog . Remember Daily Waluigious? It's like that, but hourly! I'm working on getting the old Waluigious archive ready, it should be up sometime during next week. However, I cannot get the old Waluigious domain back. It's all going to be part of Supper Mario Broth. I'll add Waluigi to the banner, though, for old times' sake!

I could ask how/why is Waluigious being reborn, but that'd be stepping on privacy. But I'm glad things are (supposedly) going well for you again.

Sounds like fun! Let me know if you're interested in posting any Banzai's Canon links.

Oh yes, Banzai's Canon has some great stuff! Once the site is up, we'll talk about cross-posting some articles from there. Maybe you'd like to be a guest writer, too!

OK, guys, I need feedback on the following. I am going to only publish a part of the old Waluigious articles right away. The rest will be re-released, in an updated form, daily (maybe several times daily?) after that. The advantages of that are that the articles can be adjusted for the Mario games that happened since then (and a lot has happened in the past 2-5 years!) and that there'll be a steady stream of content added to the blog for people just getting introduced to it.
If any of you think it's a bad idea or want to add an idea of their own, please tell me. Also, please check this topic daily if you want to participate in the revival because it's not called "participate" for nothing!

So, if I understand well, these articles will be posted on Supper Mario Broth ? How will it generate traffic though ? I personally had never heard of Supper Mario Broth until, well, yesterday.

Well, Supper Mario Broth has a couple thousand followers on Tumblr, so that's a bit of a starter user base, I would think.
As to how it will generate traffic? Well, how did Waluigious generate traffic? By having content, of course! We write it, people read it. If you want to help, recommend it to your friends.
Also, the Tumblr part and the blog part will be separate, but on the same domain. With links to each other, of course. Tumblr is horrible for blogs, so the blog will be on Blogger while the pictures will be on Tumblr.

I'm sure there are quite a few people out there who miss the old blog (including the old articles). Another idea would be to have guest articles every now and then. We cold post them on the forum first and run them past you to decide if you want to put them on the blog. EDIT: Oh and don't forget we still have a club on deviantart for collecting diagrams and maps and stuff.

I'm not against writing a couple guest articles too.

Having guest articles posted on the forum is a great idea! The deviantArt thing reminds me, if anyone has existing connections to a social network or community, it'd really help us all out if you mentioned the blog there once it's up - and if that community has a lot of Mario fans, I'd consider setting up a presence for Supper Mario Broth on there as well, like I did with Twitter.

Being a fairly new member myself, I've never actually been able to experience Waluigious. I've heard cool things about it, though, and so I totally support this revival.

After looking at the whole Supper Mario Broth blog, I started checking the twitter, and I noticed some errors. Who takes care of this site ? I'd like to contact them.

I do the entirety of the Twitter. I have a lot of work to do, which is why sometimes errors might slip in. What errors have you noticed?
