I do the entirety of the Twitter. I have a lot of work to do, which is why sometimes errors might slip in. What errors have you noticed? And who takes care of the blog? Is it multiple people? It's not really errors, but it could deserve an edit. That's almost entirely based off assumptions, from a single artwork that shows Rosalina holding her younger self by her hand. Might be confusing for some people. Didn't Wario just have his own marker? Didn't Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii have what - appears - to be Daisy's Castle? The yellow building things are actually supposed to be Pianta houses. Didn't notice anything else. It's not horrible stuff, nothing to worry about. You're doing a great job on the twitter, but I'm curious to know who takes care of the blog as well. |

I take care of almost all of the Tumblr except for the fan art, which is gathered by Unknown Beta User/Professor Fungi.
The Rosalina thing is factual in the first sentence: that the woman that's assumed to be her mother is shown to look like the adult Rosalina in a piece of concept art. The second is speculation, which I indicate by the word "might".
The marker one is odd... Wario clearly says "gimme that", indicating at least in the storyboard stage it was supposed to be one marker, but he does pull it from the wrong side, indicating it might be his own. It's a mystery!
I think the building on Daisy Circuit might be just a mansion. Luigi has a mansion too, which is why the two go together, I guess!
You know, I really wish Twitter has a larger character limit so that I could add "the structures present have no doors, windows or furniture, and cannot be entered". A house that's just an empty cube of wicker that would let water through, with no way to enter it? That's a VERY creative definition of "house".
I agree that I should have elaborated on all of these. Stupid Twitter and the need to leave out vital information. Thank you for pointing all of this out, though! If you notice more, tell me!

Well gee, I sure wondered why was there a voice screaming "THIS IS ARTEMENDO'S WORK, YOU MORON" in my head. You two are doing a very good job (which is why I read every single page of the blog in the first place). Really, I love it. Maybe you should keep Twitter for the shorter things, and put things that might need a bit more elaboration on the blog itself. As for the Pianta houses... It IS pretty crappy design, but many elements of the game were scrapped or somewhat rushed (like the ruins level that never really made it), so I assumed the Pianta houses' design was kept simplistic because they had to elaborate on more important things. I mean, these Piantas HAVE to live somewhere, right? And isn't the mayor's house mentionned by a NPC once? |
