I was so scared that it would be called the Yuu I actually shouted "No! Do not be called the Yuu!" Wii U is an okay name. Wii has brand recognition among regular, non-gamer consumers now, so keeping it is good business.
Zelda Universe was a game that was registered on ESRB, then taken down right after. Nothing ever came of it...

Well, now that I think about it, I don't think anyone will be getting on Nintendo for being unoriginal with console names. X-box 360 and PS3

Is anyone else still hoping Nintendo will make a new and improved motion controller for WiiU? Imagine, right out of the box you get Nintendo WiiU System, URemote & Wireless Nunchuck (Charging Station Included), UPad (Charging Cradle Included), USensor Bar (w/ Depth Sensing Capability), and maybe WiiU Sports all for under $350 USD; Great deal, right? Sure it'd be a tad expensive, but not as bad as $600 USD PlayStation 3, and you'd certainly get more bang for your buck. Imagine an FPS using WiiU Zapper: You'd have the URemote up front for the IR Pointer, the Nunchuck in the back (ala Wii Zapper), but right above it you have the UPad (ala WiiU Concept Trailer). The television could be just for action, while your Radar, along witht he rest of your HUD could be placed on the UPad's screen; And because the UPad has a Microphon on it, and you'll be holding it close to your face, it could eliminate the need for Headsets when gaming online! You hear your teammates out of the UPad, and they hear you through the UPad. Also, because of the design, the game could track your gun's movement perfectly. Think bout it, you've got three accelerometers, and two gyroscopes, all at different points on the gun! It'd be a whole new level of immersion... But, of course, you could choose to just play with the UPad, or just with the URemote & Nunchuck... I talk too much.

Apparently Nintendo held a press conference the other day. The WiiU got a release date and a price. It's coming out November 18 for 299$ or 350$ for the fancy version. I don't think I'll be getting this one immediately. I'd like to see more then one Mario game before I shell out 300 dollars. www.pressthebuttons.com/2012/09/ ... price.html --- Also, what's the deal with Nintendo and November 18? They seem to release a lot of important stuff on that date.
