Use them to unlock a couple special stars. Or extra lives. Or nothing. Who said you had to use Play Coins in all games ?

True... I guess there's not much you really can do with Super Mario games involving Play Coins.

What about a secret world? Or maybe some extra playable characters?
I'm not entirely sure about this, I'm just throwing ideas out.

Maybe you could unlock Wario with enough Play Coins. That'd be awesome, to say the least.
But I don't exactly like the idea of unlocking a secret world not by playing, but by walking.

Play coins being the achievements/stamps, and having in-game extras? YES. EPIC WIN. In games like Smash Bros, it would just make sense to have extra secret unlockables if you get certain secret achievements. Or by walking enough.

Walking 10000 steps unlocks Sonic. I called it.

Nintendo eShop on Project Cafe Wishlist: -CafeWare: Downloadable games designed specifically for Project Cafe. -Virtual Console: Entire library of Wii Virtual Console (including the ability to transfer your purchases), including Sega Saturn and DreamCast games. When Project Cafe is released, all Virtual Console titled purchased on Wii Shop Channel or Nintendo eShop should be available for download on Nintendo 3DS withot having to repurchase the content, with the exception of Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Gear (which would remain 3DS-exclusive), Saturn, and DreamCast (which would remain Cafe-exclusive). -HD Classics: Project Cafe's equivelent of 3D Classics, these would be classic games reimagined in 1080p resolution with widescreen support. Imagine HD Classic: Mario Kart 64, with the same graphics and stages of the original, but pumped up resolution, widescreen, a smoother interface, and online matchmaking/leaderboards. -WiiWare: Self-explanatory, and tranferable from Wii.

Really? My last post was in May... But it's summer vacation time and I'm getting ready to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Mariology Forums "Rebirth," if you will. I remember it like it was yesterday, when I first stumbled upon this site only to find it all but dead, when I began to post; it wasn't long before other members like KingKoopa began to reply, and eventually we got new members like Koopalmier and you, of course... And I plan on being as active as I was then, now! Yep, it's a Mariologist life for me!

You know what I hope is announced tomorrow for Project Cafe? A sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns.

You know what I hope is announced tomorrow for Project Cafe? A sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns. Sorry, but most sequels aren't announced that quickly after the initial release. Give it a year or two.

I'm sure Retro is working on something else now. New Star Fox anyone?

Yeah, but they might be (hopefully) working on a new one for Project Cafe or 3DS

What ever happened to the Retro game, or Pikmin 3, or Zelda Universe? :/

Retro: They are working on Mario Kart 3DS Pikmin 3: Same excuse as last year I guess. They are working on it, but it isn't their main priority. Zelda Universe: What on earth is that?

I was one of the people who thought the name Revolution better suited the console. I didn't mind the name Wii too much though. It expressed what Nintendo wanted. It was short and easy to remember. But naming the next console the Wii U? That just seems a bit unoriginal to me. (Its better than what I thought the console would be called when Reggie was talking aintroducing it though. It thought it would just be called the U perhaps spelled Yuu)
