kmj10The wood-esque people from certain Galaxies in Super Mario Galaxy 2... Maybe I could further my argument that some of the Galaxies in the Super Mario Galaxy Sub-series are parts of the Mushroom World with this, lol! @thedude Straight up, Mario Party 3 and 4 are my favorites! But as for having no gimicks, have you seen the trailer? All of the players ride in a big vehicle, and their Dice Roll moves everyone, not just them... I don't know how I feel about that, I mean, I though Wii Party was good, why can't they just do that? @kk So true.

That whole vehicle thing is probably just one mode of the game though. Or maybe one specific board.

True, it'd be pretty cool for a 2 VS. 2 Mode that involved two vehicles with two players in each! It would certainly be interesting.

Mario Party 5 (more or less), 6, 7 and 8 were barely related to the Mario universe. However, this time, it's set in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Sweet! Maybe we could find a gem of canon in here after all.

According to Mario Party 2, Wario is the Superstar of Mario Party 1. So, apparently, Mario Party has it's own Canon seperate or otherwise to the rest of the games.
(THAT little tidbit was brought to you by TheRunawayGuys.)

Where exactly is this indicated?

Where exactly is this indicated? I believe ChuggaaConroy said something about it being in the Instruction Booklet for Mario Party 2. I dunno. Look at Mario Rainbow Castle Episode 1. ProtonJon makes a huge deal about it. You canNOT miss it.

...It's not in the instruction booklet. At all. All it says is that Wario was the first one to disagree with Mario on the name of Mario Land. It doesn't specifically mention that he won the last Mario Party game.
Also, the ending of Mario Party 1 goes out of its way to mention that nobody is the true superstar. It plainly says "WE ARE THE SUPERSTAR" after the credits are over.

Okay. ChuggaaConroy was wrong. I can live with that.
Moving on.

Mario Land is still called Mario Land in Mario Party 2 if a character who isn't Mario ends up becoming the Superstar. Sucks for anybody who isn't a egomaniac plumber in red. They should have called the place Party Land.

It's made clear in the ending that it was just a play.

Specifically, said play is an attraction at Mario Land. Kinda like the stage shows at Disneyland.

That further proves Mario Land (from SML2) is actually an attraction park.
Wait. Mario has a castle on there, right ?
... Mario Land is the Mushroom Kingdom counterpart of Disney Land ?!

Are we even certain the Mario Land from SML2 is the same one from MP2? They look absolutely nothing alike.

Well, I just can't believe that Mario Party is canon in any way, shape, or form. Sorry, but no, I don't think Mario Land from MP2 is the same as the one from ML2, because I don't believe the one from MP2 exist.

*cough*papermarioprovesyouwronggyll*cough*
Well if you believe that Mario sold his castle after the events of SML2... some Toad investors could have turned it into a theme park. Wait, this sounds familiar. Mario building theme parks? One of the worlds in Mario Land being a Mechanical Mario. I think the Mario Party 2 Mario Land was Mario's inspiration to make Mini-Mario toys

It actually said that they have "parties," but how do you know they didn't mean the kind like Peach throws in Paper Mario? Why assume they meant the Mario Party games, which feature some rather crazy things (even by 'Shroomverse standards).
