Well first off you can stop calling his species unshavens; Sluggy is actually the name of the species, not the charecter.

"Sluggy the Unshaven" would imply that he is one called Sluggy out of the species of Unshavens, of which he is one of. But this really has absolutely nothing to do with the conversation.

But according to that logic, Bouncing Burts should be called "bashfuls", since Burt the Bashfuls name inplys he is one called burt out of a species called bashfuls.

I checked the Super Mario Wiki and you're right on both accounts. Nintendo made it rather confusing how some (such as Hookbill the Koopa, Roger the Potted Ghost, Ralphael the Raven) have species as the second part of their name, whereas others (Sluggy the Unshaven, Tap-Tap the Red-Nosed, Burt the Bashful) have species named after the first part of their name. But anyway, to stay on topic I'll ask my question again: do you have any ideas on what to do with Sluggy?

It's a slug. Dosn't seem toxic, dosn't have an super special abilities. I guess you could say that it kinda seems liquid like as the slime but it dosn't really seem like a water type to me. I think there all just simple slugs, and would classify them in the normal type.

Well, all right, I suppose. I think it should be Ice as well though because of its habitat. Oh and I forgot that Roger should be Fire as well, due to the fire he spits at you.

-I still think Nastasia shouldn't be dark as she's reformed and doesn't have any darkness powers. Mimi is debatable, however.
-Fake Miracle Star should be Magic due to his powers in the fight with you.
-Why isn't Sluggy Ice? If Penguin is Ice, then Sluggy should be Ice as well.
-Muscle-types shouldn't be part Normal now, as it's a pretty definate thing; either you're strong or you're not.

Response to your points: - I think Nastasia may be the same species as Bleck. We haven't seen any other Flipfloppers with that blue colour, right?
- Penguins are Ice because finding them in other climates is uncommon. (I'd like to say "rare", but SMGxy has them in like every water level.)
- Muscle simply indicates extreme strength; I don't actually think it's possible to have a pure Muscle-type. For example, a Normal/Muscle is different from a Fire/Muscle.
Now, we have a bit of a problem. The table in the first post contains 224 species, and is now over the 25,000 character limit to be displayed (it doesn't actually, because you can't modify a post past the limit). What do we do? (In case you're wondering, the number of characters is 31,000+). |

actually, I believe Bleck was originally a shaman (you know, like Merlon and every other character that has the word "mer" in his name) Because one you beat the game, The Flopside version of Merlon (I think his name was Nolrem or something) Talks about how a few member of the tribe of ancients became evil and how Bleck descended from that family. Then he read the dark prons progno...ugh...the evil book whose name I could never spell and transformed |

Count Bleck is related to Merlon, because they both decenscended from the Tribe of Ancients. There's actually quite a few Flopsiders with blue skin. The problem with the penguin logic is it's actually impossible to find Sluggies in any other climate. Just start a new post with the ones alphabetically last.

It was not said in the game but Bleck and Tippi probably got married in whatever dimension they are in probablly the Underwhere

Edit: I was looking at Super Mario Wiki and it said that Tippi was one the Ancients in the tribe of Ancients. Also it said Count Bleck is related to Nolrem not Merlon, and it says Nastasia used to be a bat before she became a person from the Tribe of Darkness

Nolrem is related to Bleck because they both came from the Tribe of Darkness.
But when does it say that Tippi was part of the tribe? Every since I found out Mario Wiki orders the age of the Koopalings by the ages they are in Lemmy's Land, I've been a bit skeptical. And that bat thing...don't know where that came from.

That bat thing was a part of the game (it was one of the stories that Carson could tell you) If you type Carson on Super Mario Wiki and look at some of the links you can find everything I just said
