I think that's the best explanation yet. And maby when the mutate lakitus, they lose their ability to ride on clouds. So the shroobs have to suply them with saucers to ride on instead. It's brilliant!

They look just like regular lakitus, and anyone, even yoshi, can ride the clouds. And while it's likely that the shroobs mutated at least some of the regular creatures, some of them have to be native.

Shrooblets spring to mind, as they are the shroob equivilet of goombas. Yoob and swiggler seem to be robots, and tashrooba has obviosly been shroobafied. But as for shroob rex and spiny shrooba, I don't know.

Shrooblets are probably natives. And, Yoob and Swiggler aren't real robots, they are biomechanical. The Shroobs mutated a Yoshi and installed machanical parts so it could mutate some more yoshis, and they mutated a wiggler so it could process vim.

Via GE Shroobs find a pregnant creature and add shroob DNA to the baby. Thus changing the creature's overal structure and making it a shroob

I didn't mean you, but now that you mention it, I think bio-enginering and genitic enginering might be the same thing too, or at least verry similar. You might be talking about bio-machanical enginering.....

I think shrooboids are the shroob equivilent of a super soldier program. Shrooboid brat isn't realy a shrooboid.

I think shrooboid brat is some kind of failed attemt at making a super soildier out of a young shroob or something maby a shrooblet.

Shrooboid brat seems to be a sort of cellebrity among the shroobs, they most likely call him a shrooboid so he sounds more powerful.

He seems more like some kind of gladiator if you ask me. He's forced to fight for the entertainment of other shroobs.

Yea, and the only use they could find for the mistake was as entertainment. They didn't want to just let it go to wast.

Shrooboids probobly star out as a jr shrooboid, than they become an elder shrooboid when they grow spikes and gain the abillity to shoot fireballs and trap enemys in crystal.

The Shroob language is in different symbols. This would theoretically mean that the sounds they make cannot be made by humans, and haven't been discovered by humans. Also, why did the Shroob planet form into a non-spherical shape? Perhaps there is a fluctaution in gravity...

I always thought it was weird how people know they're called Shroobs and all of thier variations, yet can't understand their language. The Elder Princess Shroob is the only one who can definately speak English, and possibly the younger one as well, both both refer to their race as the Shroobs...

Perhaps there names are conjectoral, since they don't know there actual names they make up names.

That's what I thought, except their leaders refer to them as Shroobs.

Then maybe somebody herd it from the leaders. And if they can speak English it's possible that other shroobs might be able to speak it too. Or maybe they just heard "shroobs" from one of them and they probably made up the rest.

Maybe the invaders heard people calling them Shroobs and decided to refer to themselves as such to avoid confusion.

If we invaded a planet, I don't think we would stand for nameing ourselves after what the natives called us.

Peacefully visiting, I'd want to get the message across that we're "humans".

But as an attack, I'd just go with it so no time is wasted trying to drill something into the homeland's head when they wouldn't be listening anyway.

But even if they refered to us as "so and so", we wouldn't start calling ourselves that.

Maybe the shroobs don't call eachother that but only refere to themselves as that towards others.

But remember, they speak another language made out of sounds we can't even pronounce, so they wouldn't be able to say "We are the Shroobs!" or anything similar.

But it can be translated, you could probobly learn it if you tried hard enough.
