Well, now that this is the clefts thread I'll start by listing all the cleft veriations.

Cleft
Bald cleft
Hyper cleft
Hyper bald cleft
Iron cleft
Moon cleft

I think moon clefts are interesting because they are the only thing native to PM2's moon, but anyway can someone post where the differnt types of clefts are found in PM and PM2.

I'm actually too lazy to put where all of the clefts are found, just where they are first encountered. the cleft seems to be the only cleft type to appear in the rougeport land mass and the MK.

Hey, I just rememberd that moon clefts are in the pit of 100 triles. That means that clefts have been around for over 1000 years.

Clefts are on floors 13 and 18. Hyper clefts are on floors 32 and 37. Moon clefts are only on floor 55.

Are you sure? I don't remember Moon Clefts in the Pit, you might be reading off a typo.

I don't remember what was in that pit; just that I absolutely hated it. I beat Bonetail, though.

You know, I think it's possible that clefts first originated on the moon. And then an asteroid impact sent one to Mushroom Earth.

Just one? There would have to be more than just one to account for all the clefts on mushroom earth.

Clefts seem to be the only thing native to the moon, everything else was made by the x-nauts.

So, here's a basic outline. Clefts were originally native to the Primary Moon. However, a group of them ended up on ME,(possibly in a meteor-like object) and then bred. Eventually, they adapted to the ME enviroment and changed.

I thik that they are not native to the moon, but from another place far away in outer space. And that thousands or millions or maby more years ago a meteor or something crashed into the moon, and had them inside. Perhaps at the same time, or maby years later some then made their way to the Mushroom Earth. Most meteors burn up in atmosphear so it's probably more likely they were on the moon before MushE but I think it's likely they didn't originate on the moon. I don't have any proof or anything, Seeing how it's mushoom universe moon and not earth moon they probably could have originated there too.

The meteor thing can't happen because if they where inside the meteor, they would die on impact, or from the heat/pressure/g-force.

Hmmm....

Actually I think the X-nauts made them along with the Yux. Think about it, they're much stronger, and make the perfect guards.
