Lakitus

Maybe the clouds are a offshoot off the nimbus people, they could be ruff puffs though.

How do lakitus get their clouds? Do they just get them at birth or what? Do there parents get clouds for them, or are the clouds just attracted to them. I doubt they wonder around looking for clouds because I've never seen a lakitu that wasn't on a cloud, or behind a wall, or hiding somewhere like in a puddle or pipe. Maby they just hide when somebody comes close, then they grab some spiny eggs or some other objects and throw them.

If you removed the cloud and glasses, Lakitus would just be regular Koopas.

Therefore, I think that Lakitus are just a division of Bowser's army (or they were until some got away or quit). The Koopas in the division are given clouds for transportation and glasses for vision.

Makes sense to me. But there probaly not the same as other koopas. There probably another subspecies like spinies and electrakoopas. Their shells have rings on them.

They look a bit human, there faces don't have beaks or anything.

The biggest difference between lakitus and other koopas, it the fact that lakitus have a nose where as other koopas have a muzzle. If lakitus are indeed related to koopas (which I think they are. I'm almost positive that I've read that in some game before) they must have branched off the evolutionary tree futher back then other species that look more similer to eachother (e.x: troopas and hammer bros.)

Everything about the face is completely different. The rest of their body is smaller than other Koopas, so I guess they would need the cloud to move easier.

And the clouds are probably given to them magically somehow.

That is possible, after all, tons of enemys such as pokeys, wigglers, and bullet bills are found in space(SMG) so why can't there be koopas from more than one planet(people alwayes imagen aliens look like them."cough"grey aliens"cough")

Maybe lakitus are crippled koopas and their clouds are their weelchair.

Well there are pipe lakitus and underwater and wall lakitus so I'm guessing they had to get to those places by walking.

I believe that Lakitus are given a cloud at a coming of age ceremony. These clouds are their steeds, (similar to horses) and they ride on them. If a Lakitu is banished they are stripped of their cloud. Also, I believe Lakitufos are Lakitus that have been genetically altered by the shroobs. Shroobs seem to me to be the type of race that, rather than bring millions of troops, (they do bring quite a lot though) genetically modify creatures already there to use for their army.

The shroobs planet is probobly like the mushroom planet so I think that most of the cretures origenated there.
