Great job, Pdoogan; that's exactly what I was talking about. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but that looks pretty good.
And Yoshi Mastar, the SMB3 areas look fine to me. I've never played SMA4, though.

You made Dinosaur Land fill up like half the planet.
And we should discuss things further in the distance thread.
Claws, this is based off the worlds design in game it's not from SMA4.

Oh, I thought there was some kind of brief scene in SMA4 that showed how the islands of the Mushroom World (the official name for the group of islands explored in SMB3) were arranged.

Only one problem. It looks that the planet in that picture is really tiny, meaning a different gravity than Earth's. thats probably how mario and luigi jump so freakin high less gravity than earths

Which land is which? If the one in the upper left-hand corner is Grass Land, then I think I may have made a pretty decent discovery.

Top left is Grassland. Top middle, Pipeland. Top right, Iceland. Center left, Desertland. Center right, Darkland. Lower left, Waterland. Lower middle, Giantland. Lower right, Skyland.

Excellent, then my discovery may still be valid. Remember Yoshi's Safari? Well, I recently foudn out that the first level was called...*drumroll* Grass Land! Could it be of relation to the SMB3 world? Let's see, shall we? Here's an image of the Yoshi's Safari world map (aka Jewelry Land): img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/predalien85/1027556154-00.jpgThe area with the number one on it is Grass Land. At first I realized that the two maps don't match up, so they couldn't be the same place. But then: img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/predalien85/1027556154-001.jpgIf you flip it upside down and change perspective, then you can see how Jewelry Land might be able to be overlayed on top of Grass Land. I know it's a stretch, but don't you think it's worth it?

Ehh...I don't know about that one. I tend to think all the maps we've seen so far face north. And then there's that large body of water in the middle. Much larger than that lake in Paper Mario or the river in Grassland. Also, Jewlery land had it's own king and prince, so it's definatly not part of of the land ruled by Princess Peach. It's a nice theroy, but it just seems a bit too unlikley.

You don't really see it in the game but it's on the map screen below the Koopa Bros. fortress.

Yeah, it's where all the water in the fortress comes from.

Nice investigating, Kamikaze, but I'm not sure that Jewelry Land syncs with the Paper Mario continent, which I think that the SMB3 islands are located off of.

Mabey any area that's fields can be called a grass land.

Or one of the Grasslands could be named after the other.
