I've been working on this since February (well, I've had worked on it in February a then forgot about it and then finished it off when I found some more pictures.) But anyway, I've put together every possible map from a Mario game I could find, 7 in all, and with a little tweaking, I think I've finally made a reasonable map of the Mushroom World: photobucket.com/albums/y300/lucipep/?action=view¤t=map.png

That looks really good and quite reasonable. Kind of odd how there's a lot of water, though.

I only have one thing to say. Wow.
You managed to piece together something that I couldn't figure out since this sites beginning. Granted, it's only a guess, but I'm still thoroughly impressed.
And I don't think it's odd that there's alot of water. After all, Earth has quite a bit too.

Well, I wouldn't think they'd have a lot of water, considering the general lack of rain and abundance of snow in some areas.

The size of things seems off as it always has in everything Mario related. The only real error is you forgot about the seven kingdoms in SMB3. Or are those the islands in the Mushroom Kingdom?

Yeah, those island are the mushroom kingdom. I took that directly from the GBA version of Super Mario 3, You know, that map you see after you beat Bowser.

I always imagined the worlds bigger, and the shape they are in the game.

The world map and most of the indiviual maps look very different from each other. If you ever tried to figure out how some of the indevidual maps are islands, you relize it's nearly impossible (I may try to do that anyway) As for the size, you have to remember that alot of landmarks in the Mario game maps are scaled up for the sake of appearence.

Yeah. I remember in the Paper Mario map Toad Town was bigger than Dry Dry Desert.

Pdoogan, you're my hero. That's amazing, and a project I was hoping someone would undertake. You even included Jewelry Land! I just have a few words of advice. If it was me, I'd include the small islands from the Mario's Early Years titles. You can find them here. Fun with Letters and Fun with Numbers feature the same seven islands while Preschool Fun features a different six. One other thing: didn't our heroes have to fly over a large body of water to get from the Mushroom Kingdom to the Beanbean Kingdom?

...Oops, I forgot about that. I guess It can't be perfect. But if I remember correctly: In the begining, with the Bowsers ship, were they really flying over water, or was it just kind of dark? The other times I could see them flying over the ocean, like the ending credits because they come from the south flying out of the airport. (They also needed to drop Bowser off back at his castle)

Also, I see Nimbus Land, but where is the rest of the SMRPG island chain? Sorry if I sound too picky.

The SMRPG map just seemed too confusing to me. I couldn't even figure out where the Mushroom Kingdom started and ended. For some reason, that map really dosen't fit anywhere in relation to anything else in the Mushroom world...I guess I'll figure it out someday.

I'm making a map too. Included: SMW SMB3 SML, 2, 3 SMS PM2 PM
I'm gonna show the 7 Lands from SMB3 spread out around the PM version of the Mushroom Kingdom. I'm gonna adapt Pdoogan's ideas about area placement and include some more stuff.

What about the Beanbean Kingdom? And what about the "Mushroom Kingdom" in SMRPG? Would that be included in the SMRPG island?
