I doubt any creature besides a human would willingly come to the real world and seach for someone. Besides, Earth is a big place. It would be nearly impossible to find two people among an entire planet.

I think Bowser and/or Kamek must have some way of sealing and creating portals. Remember Mario is Missing and Mario's Time Machine. Bowser was jumping back and forth between our dimension and Mario's quite a bit.

If those games could ever be liked, the portals could already have been there.
I don't care enough to solvce anything about them....
And anyway creatures always have the upper hand when against the cops.
In fact has a cop ever done anything to help a super hero in a movie?
Or stop a villan?

Two babies being abducted would get a whole lot of attention from law enforcement and the media. And if an outright war ever happened between the Koopa Kingdom and the modern militaries of our world, the Koopas would probably lose. That's why I think the Koopa Kingdom was secretly invading Earth/searching for the bros. Whatever they did, they had to do it covertly (which is why they came through the sewers).

Magikoopas could easily be sneaky and incognito with there magic in earth.

I was always under the impression that magic didn't work in the real world.

As far as actual reality goes, probably not. But according to the Mario Universe, magic is possible on Earth. Gruntilda was a witch from Twycross, England, who practiced magic on the Isle O' Hags here on Earth, so it's possible.
I think that although the Koopa Kingdom does indeed use magic as a weapon, they were taking things slowly and secretly beginning either the invasion of Earth or the search for Mario and Luigi when SMB occurred.

Maybe Kamek thought that the Bros. plain dissappeared, so he stopped the search for them for several years. Then, when they were discovered again, he redoubled efforts.

That sounds good.
I guess it was a coincidence that Mario and Luigi were called to fix the very pipes that the search party were coming through.

Or maybe...
Kamek called the Bros. to the job with an ambush waiting. Unfortunately, the ambush party went slack.

Even more likely!
After the bros. arrived in the Mushroom Dimension, how was the transdimensional pipe they used to get there sealed up? If it wasn't, they could've just used it to return home. I'm guessing Kamek did it.

I like that last idea alot...never thought of it that way, but it sounds very possible. As for the pipe, I always imagined the pipe the brothers came though like the one at the beginning of SM64. It comes you jump out and then it gose back into the ground.

Why did the Mario bros. decide to save Peach in the first place? Bowser was turning everyone into stone, so maybe they felt obligated to.

Damsel in distress, your pretty much the only one to save her, I'd do it.

I guess they're just all-around good guys. However, I'd say the only reason they hung around after getting the job done was that they had no way home.

TMK looks like a better place to live than Brooklyn, especially if they owe rent and don't have a lot of cash.
They will be returning to an crappy life compared to Peaches Castle.

Well, yeah, but their adopted family and friends were all in Brooklyn. They probably grew accustomed to TMK quickly, though.

When they first got there, what happened? It's about the start of SMB, but who tells them Peach was kidnapped?

They probably saw the stone people, and then one of the toads who was left over found them and pleaded with them to help.
