how advanced in technology is the mushroom world anyway?
I've always wondered this because the technology seems to change in each game

Here's my opinion: If SMStrikers is included, then the technology level is about humans in 2125. IF SMStrikers isn't, then the tech level is humans in 2010.

I wouln't call thier technology more advanced, just different. They have different goals for what technology they wish to persue. Keep in mind they also have access to magic.

Good point with the same as ours but differnt uses.
Mushroom City looks something like Toyko.
We must have said tons of stuff already about this but there's modern technology incorporated into castles and things.

So does SMStrikers really feature technology that's extremely advanced? It didn't look too farfetched to me when I played the demo, but I only played for a short time.

How about the fact that the location of Bowser Stadium is described as "Deep Space"?

Yeah, and it looks like it's a nebula outside.

Well, we know the Mushroom Kingdom has the ability to go into space, so I guess the idea of a space-faring soccer/football arena isn't that farfetched.

Don't forget about Space Land and various mini games in some of the other Mario Parties. Also that one level in SML2.

Also the fact that there could be a visible nebula seen at night, considering the Mushroom World isn't Earth.

Do we all agree the technology is about the same as Heman and the masters of the universe?

Well, I'm not really acquainted with the tech level of Heman and the Masters of the Universe, but from what I've seen, I'd say, probably so.

What elements do you think they have an abundance of?
Gold obviously, most platforms resemble plastic materials. They probably have something that can denigrate after use. Mabey only the Mushroom Kingdom has that, Rogueport sure doesn't.

Well, we talked elsewhere about them having a metal rush sometime.
And yeah, all those platforms seem to be made of tile, plastic, or some other shiny-ish, hard surface.

In M&LSS they were studying prize blocks in hoohoo hooniversity and it seid that the SMB ones at least were made up of "secret materials from the mushroom kingdom" so it's probobly something not found on earth.
