Oh yea don't they talk about tons of blocks in that game?

It's weird how they classify the block from different games as having different properties. I always assumed it was a matter of graphics styles, not the material the block were made of at the time.

I believe that the Mushroom Kingdom is as advanced as modern humans today. I think it is also possible that they use computers and internet too. Advanced technology could also explain how the wands magikoopas use are made and the star road portals.

The portals always seemed more magical than technological, I think they were created by the star spirits as an alternet means of getting to star haven/world.

I think these guys are actully very advanced, because, they can travel through dimensions. They can actully travel through the 9th dimension using Ansibles through the worlds and dimensions. As for SPM, Flipside/Flopside seems to be the center of all the Ansibles, since, they have many doors opening to other worlds/dimensions, and, because no matter how long Mario stays in them, time never changes due to relativity. It continues as it always did.

They can actully travel through the 9th dimension using Ansibles through the worlds and dimensions. That makes no sense for two reasons: 1. If "ansibles" existed in the Marioverse, we'd know about them. 2. Why use the 9th dimension when you only need a 5th? (see here)

And you don't really need dimensional technology when you got magic that does the same thing.

But don't they need advanced technology to produce the magic?

Maybe they do. It's things like this wich are why the magic thread was created. Perhaps if we can figure out what magic is exactly, then questions like these would be more easy to answer. But I think we have a better chance of figuring out what time is than figuring out what magic is. It's pretty much the same as time except fictional.

Well time is just the estimated calculation of earths orbit and revolutions around the sun.
Magic is energy.

It doesn't matter what magic is. Magic exists to transcend physics, so it doesn't even have to be any kind of matter-energy type that we know of.
Time is just advancement along the fourth dimension.
