Wow. All of a sudden, knowing if Tom Nook is a playable character or not doesn't seem that important. I want to know more about what that movie was about. Nintendo seem to be contradicting itself, first saying that the characters are just brainless trophys built to fight, and then telling us they all have these deep backstories. Which one is it?

I think it means that the trophies are programed to act like the real things, but they're not the real things.
Who wants to bet that mondays update is Peach's profile?

Well, they never were completely brainless. For example, they feel emotion after winning a fight. And I wonder what Game and Watch's story would be if he makes the cut. Rid the world of its third dimension?

The first question is, what the heck's an "emissary"? Wikipedia has no info on a related topic and Google didn't help much either. The "subspace" part makes sense, although it may force the fifth dimension to become the zeroth dimension.

This looks like a job for the dictionary! *clears throat*
1.representative an agent or representative sent on a particular mission. 2. spy
So, I guess a subspace emissary is a representative of another dimension?
Or from looking at the screenshots, one could assume they're some sort or robot/monster things that wnat to kill everybody.

So, I guess a subspace emissary is a representative of another dimension? That makes sense. Each Smasher represents their own world, and they need to quest through other worlds for some reason.

Well, most people were expecting Peach, so of course Sakurai had to pull a fast one on us. So we get a smoke ball instead. I think Peach will still be sometime this week, though.

Ike gets a lot of character development now. First of all, Aether is his up-B move, and behaves a bit like Kirby's Cutter. His standard-B is Eruption, and it's like Roy's move. Also, Ike is classified as a heavyweight character, which helps Marth's chances of returning but hinders Roy's.

I'd put Ike into the middle-heavy category. He's not a very bulky sort of person.

I wonder how much his sword weighs...How much do you think they consider wepon and assesory weight when determining the charachter's overall weight class?

Wouldn't matter if he has knockback resistance during the toss.
And I remember hearing somewhere that Ike's sword is a two-hander, but he uses just one hand anyway.

Two Pit updates: one for music and one for his Final Smash, for those of you who don't know.

I never found those updates interesting.
Today's is, though. The Franklin Badge looks like a Paper Mario item except for the "Mother" branding. It reflects all projectiles while worn.

Apparently it's from earthbound, and that means Ness is back in.

That's a good item, for sure, but now it means we can't expect a character update every week.

We got character updates: Ike's B and up+B, Pit's Final Smash. We just didn't get any new characters.

You know what I mean. I guess I should have said character profiles then.

Yet another if not extremely good, extremely powerful update. No one honestly thought that a Poke`mon Trainer was possible, but it is. I like how Sakurai's being creative rather than just generic (B-Projectile, Up B-Recovery, Side B-Running Attack, Down B-Transform/Stun From Both Sides) that people keep suggesting. This is up there with Subspace Emmisarry as the weirdest updates ever. Wow. Just wow.
