Fairly standard update; Kirby's Copy move. Not sure why Sakurai didn't reveal all of the hats though.

Movie...probably the blandest one we've seen too. It is almost nothing more than a compilation of other movies and some gameplay footage. Although, this makes me think that it might be the last one.

Finally, a minor update I can get excited about! Classic Wario! Although it said "Wario alone is special." Looks like you're out of luck, Dr. Mario fans.

Good, I like classic look better. It's more...classic I was kinda dissapointed when they showed him in the Warioware outfit in the begining, because most of the games he's in don't have him wearing that.

I have a feeling they'll back up a little with the "Wario alone" quote. It seems like something easy to implement for some chars even between now and release, and it's even the type of thing you could imagine Nintendo upgrading with "patches".

Well, the fact that the release date got pushed back means that there will probably not be any time left over. Personally, I'm very happy about this update. Although I would like to see a few others, Wario is the only one I felt was an abxolute must. Anyway, tomorrow's Christmas, do you think he'll do anything special? At least give a character we know will be in (like Game & Watch, Luigi, Ganondorf, Captain Falcon, etc.)?

Before today's update, I thought that there were a few possibilities: - If Monday is good and Tuesday is good, many people will expect a whole week of good.
- If Monday is bad, Tuesday is probably good.
- If both Monday and Tuesday are bad/mediocre, then business as usual (we didn't get a big update on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Dec 3rd, etc)

Well...what would you call today's? Pretty small, really, but well appreciated. And besides, Christmas is much bigger than Thanksgiving or Halloween, and it celebrates the giving of gifts. Also, I think Sakurai's trying to put Dec. 3 behind him.

Christmas is the third potentially megaton update day in my opinion, with the first being Sakurai's birthday (Subspace Emissary) and the second being the 100th update (Wi-Fi).

It had better be. Two months without so much as a character or new major gameplay mode is too long to wait.

That's it. If Christmas doesn't bring good updates, nothing will. One part we were positive about, and the other we could assume. Oh well. It's out of the way now.

Today's update was okay. Kind of a throwback to Poke`mon.

Anyway, double update yesterday: Dragoon from Kirby Air Ride and downloadable content. But what's more important is Nintendo announced no updates until Jan. 7. Bummer.

Well, the updates are back. I missed yesterday, but we now have a lot of new--or should I say old--content. All lot of Past Stages, and Multi-Man Melee, or "Brawl" is back. There's also Co-op and Wi-Fi for the latter, and four enemy models instead of two.

I wonder why they made the Alloys instead of just setting you up against a bunch of Primids...whatever.
Anyway, bit of a megaton update today. New character, high unorthodoxy level, new universal representation.

He looks a bit bigger that he did from his games. I wonder if we'll be able to overwhelm opponents with like mobs of up to 100 pikmin or something. That'd be super cool. Controlling him will probably be more interesting than Pkmn Trainer.

I wonder if we'll be able to overwhelm opponents with like mobs of up to 100 pikmin or something. Final Smash most likely. And of course his size has been modified. Remember that the whole Smash Bros. universe is affected by a scaling normalization device (Kirby is really 8 inches tall, Pikachu's 1'3", the Great Fox is relatively tiny, etc).

Olimar is the size of a quarter. Dr. Wright is 3 inches tall. Sonic is supposed to be about 2 feet shorter than Mario. Things don't make sense. But who cares! We get Olimar! He was one of my most wanted characters! And there's still symbol #19, meaning we'll get at least one more, and #13 (Game & Watch)..

I was wondering if Olimar would be in this, but I doubted it because of he tiny size. I'm surprised the update doesn't mention word about the fact that he's like, 100 time his normal size. -- Yeah but Nintnado rarely ever portays him that size. Even before SSB, he's looks about 1 1/2-2 feet tall in verious comics. Also Sonic is exactly 20 inches shorter then Mario.

Right, and 20 inches is about 2 feet.
