Yeah, I geuss. Today's update was extremely weird. Most of the first update was pointless, except I suppose the Pity Final Smash is noteworthy. The second part was weird too. I've heard of X before, but I didn't expect it to get any kind of representation. I want to hear it though. (school)

Dedede's Final Smash. I actually like it. It fits him really well, and it's more creative than a Super Sonic knockoff (Him falling asleep and being uber powerful). And now we only have four Final Smashes left out of the confirmed characters, two of which we already know. We have: Sonic Snake Zero Suit Samus Zelda

Even though it's not that unique, this update was very important. First of all, it's nice because it stops those jerks that always shut the power off after they are about to lose. Secondly, it confirms that there will, in fact, be secret characters, 100% positive. Finally, the character select screen suggests that we have our starting roster...although it seems a little small. Opinions?

Disconnections will still be a problem. It's just that it'll be harder to see them.

Well of course. But at least it will stop interrupted fights.

Poke`mon that we knew about today. Not that special really, but it's still a pretty good idea for a Poke`mon.

Today's mode update was hardly a mode at all. With a little bit of thought, anyone could do it in Melee anyway. So I think it's pretty pointless.

All-Star? Adventure? (Like a basic version of Subspace Emmisary) Multi-Man Melee Board the Platforms? Race to the Finish Options (probably a lot of sub-updates)Data (ditto) Although, it's good to get it all out of the way at once. And it's pretty cool with some features like the Sound Test from the get-go. Oh, and some Ice Climber music.

It's getting rather obvious that the update schedule was designed with a Dec. 3rd release date in mind. But it is useful to know that you unlock the Sound Test in parts rather than all at once.

Well, it's been about a month and a half where the updates have been lackluster, so hopefully, in a few weeks, the normal schedule of good updates will come back into place.

Mario Kart Stage...It's about time! And there's some interesting aspects we haven't seen before. For example, the jump that the Shy Guys make from the side and the fact that you can smack them away. It's good they're making it different from Mute City.

Big Marioverse update today - Waluigi's an Assist Trophy. Everyone knew it was either this or being playable, and this seems to work better for him.

I seriously doubted Waluigi would make it as a playable character, as he isn't that popular and he has almost no significance whatsoever. But it's cool that he's making an appearance. Stafy, though...:`( I really wanted him to be playable. He fit into the icon theory (I think; don't know what Nintendo DS is in Japanese), he is extremely popular in Japan (To the point of getting cameos in American releases), and he could have a cool moveset. But alas...he's not in. Hopefully Sukapon will still make it.

The great thing about this update is that is practically confirms Luigi(not that we had any doubt). I mean, not even Sakurai would dare put Waluigi in the game if it didn't have Luigi in it.

I think that was practically confirmed with the FLUDD update. Luigi's Poltergust 3000 just fits so well.

This was essentially a triple update; Co-op Event Matches, Coin Mode, and Co-op Target test. I personally didn't like Coin Mode much in the last game, but some of the Event Matches look cool.

I personally thought that Metroid Prime wouldn't get any representation due to Samus having a more classic look, but I guess I was wrong; we get a stage. Also, we have music to every franchise now except Sonic, the DS, and oddly, Mario.

Today's update gets Team Battle out of the way and also introduces a new item. It sort of adds more team involvement, but it doesn't seem that much better than a Heart Container or Maxim Tomato.

I'd like to know what happens if you absorb a Team Healer (it seems to be energy-based). Would it lessen the damage caused by G&W's bucket? Would absorbing one cause Lucas to take damage? Would counterattacking a heal (negative damage) produce a healing counterattack? Or would it just not be possible to protect against it?

That's weird. I never thought about it like that. I assume it would do the opposite of any attack. Sort of eliminates the Friendly Fire/PSI Magnet combo.
