Also, post why it's your favorite.

I like MKDS for it's old school style race track like the doom ship and desert hill. It also has custom karts but only one driver per kart (I never really liked to 2 per kart thing). The power ups are the best too and they got rid of that giant banana (thank god) and added the bullet bill. MK64 would most likely be my second favorite because it was easy and I pretty much grew up playing that game. MKSC Is pretty good too but a little on the hard side. So it's in the middle. I'm not really a big fan of double dash. It always seemed like the heavy weight characters were the only ones who win and you were constantly being bombarded by enemy power ups. SMK is my least favorite because it was just too darn hard. I could never get the hang of that game.

I chose Double Dash because I have yet to play Mario Kart DS. I liked it because of A) the superior graphics/artwork, B) the nice level design and C) the smoothness of the controls.

I chose MKDS. The online play, the brilliant courses, and the many karts were all factors. I do, however, lament the inclusion of ROB the robot instead of a more deserving character, like Triclyde, Diddy Kong, or Birdo.

Being hit by 1 million spiny shells is considered fun?

Yeah, the fact that you were canstantly being hit by shells made Double Dash rather frustrating. I love the sheer feeling of pure speed you feel In MKDS. When you get a boost on a 150cc level, you can really feel yourself rocketing foward.

Super circuit is really hard. But I'm worse at the original MK. I can barely stay on the track in that game. One good part about MKSC is the music. It has some of the best music even though it's on the platform with the poorest sound quality

I really hated DD's music. All of that whistling. . . argh. The "two characters per kart" system was great for multiplayer, though.

Double Dash had to have some of the least memorable music of any Mario kart. The only song I liked was the Wario/Waluigi tracks. I never really get to play multi player that often, considering I'm an only child. That's another reason I like MKDS you don't nee two or more people to play the versus and battle modes.

Drybones is my best character. His acceleration is the best of any character in any Mario kart game, period.

Double Dash had to have some of the least memorable music of any Mario kart. I guess I'm the odd one out, since I haven't heard any MK music I didn't like.

I'm going to have to say Super Mario Kart, even though some do hate this game it's good and considered a classic, the CPU may be insanely cheap and have some advantages over you, this game provides a good challenge and becomes very easy once you get used to everything. This game alone started the popularity for Mario Kart and the others wouldn't exist if it wasn't for this game in the first place

I've been trying to become good with Wario and the Wario Car (or Brute) in MKDS. Today, though, I got pulverized online by two star-bearers.

I once beat a three-star, but mostly because of the way scoring is handled when other players drop out. He played dirty, too: he sat in front of item boxes until everyone else passed and once ran over me three times with the same Star. Ranbow Road was the critical point; I was holding a Spiny for one and a half laps and unleashed it at the corkscrew.

...You mean besides Drybones? Anyway, I don't really have a favorite characer in SMK because I never played it that much. My best character in MK64 would be Yoshi or Toad. The best one in Super Circut is Peach. Best combo in MKDD in baby Mario and Toad in Toad's kart. And theres obviously no competition when it comes to Drybones in MKDS.
